Kyle Cooke and Amanda’s Most Awkward Moments from Summer House Season 10

Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship strain became apparent right from their debut in Summer House season 10 — and things only got more uncomfortable from there.

“Hey, don’t forget about me this summer,” Kyle told Amanda during the February 3, 2026, episode, filmed in July 2025, six months before they announced their split in January 2026 after four years of marriage.

Amanda was quick to respond, saying, “Who?” A lengthy pause filled the air as Kyle gazed at Amanda in their car, before a playful grin broke across her face.

The couple continued to clash throughout the premiere and the rest of the season over trivial matters, like Kyle’s use of “model” instead of “models,” as well as significant issues such as Kyle’s discomfort with Amanda going nearly nude at a pool party.

Boy, Bye

“Are you going to miss me?” Kyle asked Amanda as she got out with Ciara Miller during the Summer House season premiere. “No,” Amanda shot back.

Kyle quickly added, “Actually, this is healthy,” noting Amanda would be with the girls while he took the guys to the Hamptons.

“Why are you freaking out? You’re acting like I’m going off to college,” Amanda remarked. Kyle jokingly replied, “I’m so proud of you.”

Once Amanda was in the car with Ciara, Kyle rolled down his window and waved as they drove off. “He’s so distraught that I chose to drive with different people,” Amanda joked.

Grammar Police

While chatting with the crew about his “friend Ben also model,” Amanda interrupted to correct him, saying, “models.” Kyle paused and repeated, “models,” as silence fell over the group.

No Wedding Band Pact
During dinner on their first night at the house, Kyle noted, “We forgot our hardware,” referring to their absent wedding bands.

“Kyle lost his wedding ring, and I said, ‘I’m not wearing mine until he gets a new one,’” Amanda retorted.

Jesse Solomon joked, “It’s OK, you guys can cosplay as single.”

Amanda Isn’t Listening

When Kyle’s DJ career was discussed on night one, Amanda claimed it “started” after she mentioned wanting to start her own business. “He got so mad about it that he decided to be a DJ to spite me,” she claimed.

“My wife never asks me questions, and now she’s just not listening; it’s great,” Kyle told the group.

Amanda began to mock her husband, saying, “Guys, I’m so jealous it takes over my whole body. … Did you say jealous?”

Kyle replied, “No, I was just pointing out you weren’t listening.”

Test 1, 2, 3

As Kyle set up for his DJ set at the group’s 4th of July party in episode 1, Amanda’s frustration with his new career move was clear.

“This is a test,” Kyle said while arranging his DJ table. Amanda didn’t miss a beat, mumbling, “… Of my patience.”

Later, Amanda told newcomers Bailey Taylor and Levi Sebree that she and Kyle had been married for “four very long years,” adding that she did “not 100 percent” support Kyle’s DJ aspirations.

Kyle Is Fading Away Into the Background

“Every summer Amanda makes me feel like I don’t exist,” Kyle expressed during the season premiere. “She just doesn’t f*** with me.”

The Loverboy founder later confided in Carl Radke that he was “not well” amid his issues with Amanda.

“It feels like you guys are drifting,” Carl noted, then asked, “Are you happy?”

Kyle admitted, “Where I’m happy is showing people a good time and pressing play,” referring to his job. Carl then mentioned, “That’s because you’re getting attention.”

During their first group party, Kyle also shared with other friends, “I’m freaked out that we’re so polar opposite,” when discussing his dynamic with Amanda. “She never tries to make an effort,” he alleged.

Kyle Blows His Top Over Amanda Being Topless

At the end of episode 1, Amanda changed into her bra and underwear to join most of her housemates in the pool. As she got out, Kyle noticed how little she was wearing — Amanda’s skin-tone bra made it look like she wasn’t wearing any clothes.

“You went naked?” Kyle asked, clearly irritated by Amanda’s choice. Amanda replied, “No, I have clothes on.”

Kyle labeled Amanda’s outfit as “absurd,” while she questioned if he was “mad.”

“That would’ve been fun if you had, like, told me you were getting skinny,” Kyle explained, referencing Amanda’s earlier admission of meeting newbie Ben Waddell while skinny-dipping in Italy, which seemingly caused Kyle’s overreaction by the pool.

Amanda insisted that they were “all in the pool together,” including Kyle. “You were the one topless,” he retorted.

“I’m not topless,” Amanda countered. Kyle then walked off towards the house, calling the situation “just unbelievable.”
