Kyle Juszczyk Rejoins San Francisco 49ers After Release
NFL fullback Kyle Juszczyk is set to return to the San Francisco 49ers, much to the delight of his wife, Kristin Juszczyk.
“This past week has really made Kyle and me reflect on our last 8 years in the Bay. We’ve grown up here and turned friends into family,” Kristin, 30, expressed via Instagram on Saturday, March 15. “We’ve celebrated championships and faced losses as well. We feel incredibly blessed to have called the Bay home for these past 8 years. It truly has been the best years of our lives.”
She added, “Kyle’s story isn’t over yet, and we could not be happier and more emotional to stay home!!! ❤️ We’re forever Faithful.”
Kristin, a fashion designer known for transforming NFL game day apparel, also shared a video montage celebrating the couple’s memories with the 49ers. She posted the clip on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Just like that, we’re back home!!!”
Earlier on Saturday, news emerged that the 49ers had finalized a deal to re-sign Kyle, 33, after his release during the free agency period earlier this month.
Kyle also celebrated his return to the 49ers on social media, posting a photo of himself in his Niners uniform with a sticker of Leonardo DiCaprio stating, “I’m Not Leaving.”
Teammate Christian McCaffrey shared an Instagram Story featuring the two, captioning it “Back 🤝,” while fellow Niners star George Kittle wrote “Boys are back” on his own page.
Kyle joined the 49ers in 2017 after being traded from the Baltimore Ravens, where he began his career. His time with the Ravens coincided with the beginning of his relationship with Kristin, who hails from Maryland. The couple got married in July 2019 after relocating to California.
During Kyle’s NFL career, Kristin has made headlines for her unique ability to transform NFL jerseys into fashionable game day attire. Her designs gained significant attention in January 2024 when Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes donned matching custom Kansas City Chiefs puffer jackets made from pinnies for their respective partners, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
“I was fully ready for that moment,” Kristin exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2024. “I’ve been preparing for years and it’s always been my dream. When I finally had my moment in the spotlight, I was more than ready.”
She continued, “I love expanding my skills and creating new things. I don’t want to be labeled just as ‘the puffy jacket girl.’ While the attention I received was incredible, I enjoy working on a variety of other designs as well.”
Kyle has been Kristin’s biggest supporter as her fashion career reaches new heights; she launched her Off Season brand in partnership with businesswoman Emma Grede earlier in 2025.
“I feel our relationship is very balanced,” Kristin shared with Us. “When Kyle needs me to take charge, I do, and vice versa. Last season, amid the whirlwind of attention surrounding my designs, I didn’t have as much time to devote as usual, but Kyle was incredibly understanding.”
