Kyle Richards Reached Out to Dorit and PK During Jagger’s Hospitalization

As Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley attempt to move past their tumultuous history, a new situation might upset the peace once again.

In the Tuesday, January 28 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show, Kyle, 56, disclosed that she reached out via text to both Dorit, 48, and her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, after hearing about their son Jagger’s hospitalization. (The tension between Kyle and Dorit has intensified over Kyle’s friendship with PK, 57, following his split from Dorit in May 2024.)

Kyle shared with RHOBH cast member Erika Jayne that she found out about 10-year-old Jagger’s hospital admission through Dorit and PK’s social media updates in October 2024, prompting her to connect with the couple.

“They posted … that Jagger’s been having a tough time and was sent to the hospital, and I have been in touch with [Dorit], and I’ll admit that I texted PK too,” Kyle explained. “I reached out to both of them about their child. Do I regret texting PK about his child? Absolutely not. If anyone thinks that’s inappropriate, then f— you.”

Dorit told Us Weekly about Jagger’s surgery a month following his hospitalization. “I’m extremely happy to report that he’s recovering well,” Dorit exclusively revealed to Us in November 2024. “He underwent two hip surgeries within a week, and they were both emergency procedures. This little guy has faced a lot, but he’s remarkable.”

PK had previously announced on Instagram that their son was ill. “Our little boy Jagger has been unwell for several weeks, Mommy and Daddy have been with him at the amazing @cedarssinai. We want to publicly thank them and the doctors and nurses,” PK shared on October 15 last year. “We are still here, but he’s 🙏on the mend. He’s our Rocky.”

Kyle’s acknowledgment of texting both PK and Dorit came after she affirmed on Tuesday night’s After Show that she and Dorit are working on repairing their fractured friendship. “I’m in a good place now; we’re okay. I don’t want to argue with her,” Kyle expressed to the camera.

Dorit was also shown speaking to Bozoma Saint John during the episode, stating that she and Kyle were “trying to move forward” with their friendship. “I don’t think it can happen overnight,” Dorit noted. “It’s quite easy to lose trust in someone, but regaining it is far more difficult.”

Kyle and Dorit have clashed over numerous issues in recent years, including claims of inadequate support during their respective marital challenges (Kyle and her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky separated in the summer of 2023) and the prioritization of other friendships.

Kyle’s text correspondence with PK has been a recurring source of tension, igniting a heated argument between Kyle and Dorit during the January 7 episode of RHOBH. This confrontation was also highlighted in the January 14 episode, where Kyle shared her text with Erika, 53, and co-stars Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais.

The text, sent after Dorit and PK announced their separation, read, “I know you have many friends, but I am one as well and I’m here if you need me. I’ve never disclosed anything you’ve shared with me, nor will I. (It means you can trust me completely). I’ll continue sending memes and won’t forget the laughing emojis.”
