Kylie Jenner’s Italian Greyhound Norman Passes Away

Kylie Jenner is taking a moment to remember her beloved dog Norman, who passed away at the age of “13 years,” according to her Instagram post on Wednesday, October 22.

“In Loving Memory of My Sweet Norman,” she wrote, sharing a series of photos featuring the Italian greyhound. “I still remember the day I brought you home. I had never loved anything so much. Growing up, I always wanted an Italian Greyhound, but my mommy never allowed it. Then, right after I turned 17, I received you as a Christmas gift, and it was the best present I could have ever asked for.”

She continued, “Normy, you brought joy to my life and countless others. Almost 13 years old, yet I know I’ll cherish your memory far longer than our time together. I wish I wasn’t writing this. I knew you were aging, and I tried to prepare myself, but losing you is incredibly hard, Norm.”

Jenner, 28, reflected on being grateful that her children had the chance to know Norman. She shares a daughter, Stormi, 7, and son, Aire, 3, with ex Travis Scott.

The Kardashian-Jenner family has a deep affection for their collection of pets. While Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner are all proud dog parents, their sister Kylie Jenner has the most pets in her home. The number of dogs Kylie owns even surprised her then-boyfriend Travis Scott during a joint GQ interview in July.

“It brings me joy to know my kids got to meet you and love you 😢 My sweet Normyyyy. My heart aches for you. Rest in peace, my precious Normandle. I’ll love you forever,” she finalized her post.

Followers were already familiar with Norman, who often appeared on her Instagram. In 2019, fans expressed concern when he seemed to disappear from her social media posts.

“What makes you think anything happened to my Norman?” Jenner asked on Instagram back then. “I don’t post my dogs as often, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still a significant part of my life.”

The founder of Kylie Cosmetics even created an Instagram account for Norman and her other greyhound, Bambi. The two had a litter of puppies in 2016.

It took Kylie Jenner a year to settle on the name Aire for her son due to postpartum depression. “It hit me differently both times. With my son, it was major baby blues; I was just more emotional over things I usually wouldn’t be,” Jenner, 27, shared with British […]

As of 2023, Jenner is the proud mom to seven dogs, sharing with Interview Magazine that hiring a dog nanny was her best decision.

“They kept multiplying,” she noted about her dogs. “One of them had puppies, and I needed to keep the family together.”

Jenner’s heart-wrenching news arrives just a week after she made her musical debut, releasing a song titled “Fourth Strike” with pop duo Terror Jr under her alter ego King Kylie on October 14.

This follows their previous collaboration, “Three Strikes.” At that time, rumors circulated that Jenner was the lead singer of the group, whose identities were hidden.

She refuted the speculation but acknowledged it during the announcement of “Fourth Strike,” posting on Instagram, “There was a little rumor 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on 3 Strikes! It wasn’t me (wish it was), so I thought it would be great to come together for Fourth Strike and it would actually feature ME! @terror.jr, thank you for trusting me to actually be featured! I was sooooo nervous but incredibly grateful.”
