Libby from Age of Attraction Suggests Older Man Resembles Her Father

In an exclusive sneak preview of Netflix’s age-gap dating series, Age of Attraction, one contestant is eager to connect with an older man, even forming a bond with someone who reminds her of her father.

“People often try to pigeonhole me when they discover my age,” Libby expresses in an exclusive clip from Us Weekly, ahead of the show’s premiere on Wednesday, March 11.

Libby is on a mission to challenge those perceptions.

“They likely assume I’m unclear about what I want and just laid-back,” she remarks. “But I’m not really interested in men my age, as they tend to be quite immature.”

According to her bio, Libby works as a social media manager in San Diego and is a Leo. She has expressed her worries about navigating love on Age of Attraction ever since the show’s trailer debuted in January.

“I’m unsure if these guys belong to my age group, my dad’s, or even my grandpa’s,” she stated, sharing her anxiety.

Age of Attraction is hosted by reality star Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, who is 18 years younger than him. The show’s official synopsis reveals that Age of Attraction showcases how “age becomes irrelevant as singles seek their soulmates, but will the age gap create hurdles?”

Before taking on hosting duties, Nick, at 45, was a contestant on ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2014. He finished as the runner-up to Andi Dorfman and returned the following year to vie for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart, leaving again without a fiancée.

Nick later participated in Bachelor in Paradise before being cast as the Bachelor in 2016. He proposed to contestant Vanessa Grimaldi during the season finale, but their relationship did not last.

Eventually, Nick found love with Natalie, 26, whom he began dating in 2021.

“We started messaging [online], and I made sure to verify her age. I was quite self-conscious about it,” Viall shared regarding their age difference during a March 2023 episode of “The Squeeze” podcast.

Natalie reflected on the moment she realized Nick was “the one.” She said, “After that weekend, I knew, ‘I’m going to spend my life with this man.’ He didn’t realize it yet, so I told him several times that I wanted to date him.”

The couple married in 2024 and welcomed their daughter, River, that same year. They are now expecting twins following several pregnancy losses.

New episodes of Age of Attraction are available on Netflix every Wednesday.
