Lindsay Lohan Posts Rare Photo of Son Luai Enjoying the Snow
Lindsay Lohan and her son Luai are embracing the winter season as they kick off 2026.
Lohan shared a sweet photo on Instagram on Saturday, January 3, featuring herself and Luai bundled up in the snow. The 39-year-old actress wore a black puffer coat while holding her 2-year-old son’s hand. Though she placed a blue heart emoji over Luai’s face, his adorable truck-printed puffer coat and boots were visible in the picture.
Us Weekly confirmed that Lohan welcomed her first child with husband Bader Shammas in July 2023.
“I could talk about him all day,” Lohan shared exclusively with Us in November 2024 about her journey as a boy mom. “He runs fast now and recognizes his food, breathing heavily if it’s rice or pasta.”
Lohan also discussed how her family of three spent the 2024 holiday season. “[Holiday movies have] always held sentimental value for me, but now they’re even more special because I get to share them with my son, experiencing everything anew through his eyes,” she told Us, referencing the 2024 film Our Little Secret. “Everything feels like the first time. It’s so beautiful; I get really emotional about it.”
In March 2024, a close source mentioned that more children may be on the horizon for Lohan.
“Lindsay desires four kids,” the source explained at the time. “She’s busy with work, so it’s just a matter of timing. They’re likely to have [another child] in the next year or two.”
Lohan and Shammas tied the knot in April 2022 after two years of dating. “Marriage is fantastic; it’s amazing,” she shared during an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2022. “I met my person. You never know if you’ll find that in life, and he’s an incredible man whom I love. We make a great team.”
The pair publicly debuted their relationship in November 2021, though Lohan had previously mentioned Shammas in a since-deleted Instagram post from February 2020. “@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader❤️,” she wrote at the time following a festival in Dubai with her sister, Ali.
Lohan’s mother, Dina, later spoke to Us in April about her daughter’s relationship.
“Lindsay is dating a wonderful guy right now,” Dina Lohan exclusively told Us about her daughter’s new partner. “But that’s neither here nor there. She’ll share more about her personal life when she’s ready.”
The couple mostly kept their relationship private, so fans were taken aback when Lohan announced their engagement. “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍,” Lohan captioned an Instagram gallery on November 28, 2024.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying,” Lindsay’s brother, Dakota Lohan, remarked via Instagram Story while resharing his sister’s announcement.
Previously, Lohan was engaged to Egor Tarabasov before they split in 2016. She later moved to Dubai for several years.
“I felt a huge sense of relief when I relocated everything from London to Dubai and saw everything in one place,” she recounted to W magazine in February 2018. “Now I don’t live out of suitcases or hotels anymore; everything is where it should be. It’s a mental cleansing, which is what I needed, and it took time to achieve. While I’d love to have a place in New York in the future, I’m currently happy with where I am.”
