Mackenzie Douthit Offers Condolences to Tini Younger Following Tragic Loss of Baby Girl
UPDATE 11/28/2025 3:13 p.m. ET — Teen Mom star Mackenzie Douthit expressed her heartfelt condolences to Tineke “Tini” Younger following the influencer’s announcement about the loss of one of her twin daughters.
“My heart is absolutely broken for you!” Douthit, 31, commented on Tini’s Instagram announcement on Wednesday, November 26. “I truly wish doctors would stop pushing twin moms to carry for so long.”
Douthit also shared her own challenges during the birth of her twin daughters, Ja’Kharie and Ja’Meikah, with fiancé Khesanio Hall in June.
“Both of my placentas ruptured, and I knew it, but my doctor wouldn’t listen and take the babies out,” she detailed. “I had to go to another hospital and let doctors I’d never met deliver the twins at 31 weeks. This is rarely discussed. You remain in my prayers.”
Douthit, who has three other children with ex-husband Josh McKee, chronicled her hospital experiences during the last weeks of her pregnancy on Instagram and Snapchat.

Tineke “Tini” Younger has shared the heartbreaking news of losing one of her twin daughters.
“This isn’t the post I ever imagined writing after the twins arrived. Unfortunately, we lost our precious girl Arya (Baby A) earlier this week,” the 24-year-old chef and social media influencer wrote on Instagram on November 26.
“We nearly reached 36 weeks; we were so close to getting the girls to term, but I suffered a placental abruption, and we lost our sweet girl,” she continued. “Her twin sister is doing well and breathing on her own. They both are beautiful, and Arya will always be celebrated; her sister will always remember she has a twin sister.”
Alongside her message, Younger shared a poignant black-and-white photo of herself and her husband Antoine Wright Jr. holding baby Arya.
“I will be taking a break, though I’m unsure for how long, but I promise I will return,” she told her followers. “I love you all ❤️.”
According to Mayo Clinic, placental abruption “is an uncommon yet serious pregnancy complication.” It occurs “when the placenta partially or completely detaches from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery, potentially reducing the baby’s access to oxygen and nutrients and causing significant bleeding in the mother.”
Younger revealed in June that she and Wright Jr. were expecting twins. As her pregnancy progressed, she shared new recipes from her warm kitchen, contributed to a holiday food drive, and celebrated her wedding anniversary.
“One year married, six years together🤍 Happy anniversary to my best friend,” she posted on Instagram on November 12, tagging Wright Jr.
In an October interview with People, Younger discussed how her pregnancy had influenced her culinary creations, including her viral mac and cheese recipe.
“I’ve been asked, ‘How are you still able to cook? I would be nauseous,’” the host of YouTube’s “From Scratch With Tini” responded.
“Honestly, nothing has really changed,” she mentioned. “It’s more about what I want to eat rather than what I can handle. I just crave more sweet foods than savory ones.”
She referred to her babies as “perfect” and had plans for Thanksgiving dinner preparation prior to their arrival.
“I’ll just bring a chair with me,” Younger said. “I already have a small kitchen stool, but [Thanksgiving] is especially important for content creation; everyone comes to my page for recipes. I’m going to push through, just sitting on my chair, as that’s my main focus.”
