Mauricio Umansky Playfully Declares Shirtless Photo Shoot as ‘Nothing New’ (Exclusive)
Mauricio Umansky made headlines recently with his latest ARI campaign, showcasing a series of shirtless photos — but for the reality TV star, it’s merely another day.
“I haven’t had the chance to check the news or Instagram. I’ve been incredibly busy today. I haven’t seen anything,” Umansky, 55, shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 18, regarding his role as the new face of ARI’s 2026 campaign. “I’ve been shirtless my whole life, so this isn’t anything new. It’s just how I live.”
During the photoshoot for the fashion brand, Umansky donned a fur-lined winter coat paired with jeans that highlighted his abdominal muscles.
“It’s not about showing off anything,” said the Buying Beverly Hills star. “I’m not trying to come out or do anything special. It’s simply my life.”
Aside from the buzz around his toned physique, Umansky has been a long-time admirer of ARI.
“I’ve been a fan of ARI for about four years,” Umansky, who wore an ARI creation to Tuesday’s launch event, recounted to Us. “I stumbled upon the shop, fell in love with it, and started purchasing their pieces. Eventually, I got to know the owner, and he asked if I’d be interested in doing a bit of modeling for them. I was like, ‘Bro, I don’t model. What are you talking about?’”
Eventually, Umansky decided to step out of his “comfort zone” and agreed to model for the brand.
“I gave it a shot, and it’s been enjoyable,” he stated. “I appreciated the collaboration.”
Umansky has an extensive background in the fashion industry.
“Before I ventured into real estate, I was in fashion. That was my initial business,” he explained. “I’ve been involved with fashion throughout my life.”
Umansky co-founded his real estate brokerage, The Agency, in 2011 after leaving his brother-in-law Rick Hilton’s company.
“I would love for Buying Beverly Hills to return. Currently, real estate shows aren’t performing well; there are only a few left,” Umansky revealed to Us about his two-season series focusing on his brokerage. “I’m in discussions for a new reality real estate show that offers a completely unique angle. I can’t wait to pitch it.”
He added, “I believe it will do exceptionally well. I think someone will pick it up. It’s a fresh take on real estate reality [that] hasn’t been seen before.”
Beyond his thriving real estate career, Umansky also frequently appears on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alongside his estranged wife Kyle Richards.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is back for another season. The reason Kyle and I manage to work together is that it’s authentic,” he remarked about maintaining an amicable relationship with Richards, 53, after their separation in 2023. “We’ve never pretended about anything. We got married young and were together for 27, 28 years. Our friendship today is genuine. We’re fortunate to be open and real. We don’t need to fake anything for the cameras.”
Umansky, who has four daughters with Richards, emphasized that she remains his “best friend” and was proud of his recognition with ARI.
