McBee Dynasty’s Jesse Discloses That Alli Was Pregnant During Their Wedding

The McBee Dynasty’s Jesse McBee openly admitted to feeling overwhelmed prior to marrying his wife Alli McBee last fall — but his stress stemmed from more than just managing his farming duties alongside wedding preparations.

“I think it was just pent-up anxiety from the wedding and the years we spent dating — plus, what many don’t know is that we had just discovered we were expecting a [baby] girl,” Jesse shared exclusively with Us Weekly on Wednesday, August 27, revealing that he and Alli kept her pregnancy a secret throughout the second season of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.

Having experienced an anxiety attack earlier in the season while managing farm responsibilities, Jesse told Us that keeping the pregnancy a secret heightened his stress levels significantly. (The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Summer, in April after their wedding in October 2024.)

“We didn’t inform anyone, including the camera crew or even our families,” he revealed about the surprising baby news. “All that built-up pressure just hit me at once, and I had to express it somehow.”

Reflecting on his experience, Jesse expressed gratitude for Alli’s support, emphasizing that she understood his anxiety fully.

“I’m fortunate to have a partner who supports me and is okay with my anxiety,” he recalled. “Every relationship requires that open line of communication where both partners feel comfortable discussing their feelings.”

Alli, for her part, shared exclusively with Us that Jesse’s decision to discuss his anxiety candidly marked “a pivotal moment in our relationship,” noting that he typically doesn’t express his emotions very often.

“His ability to open up to me in that moment was really special for us, signifying a turning point in our relationship,” she recalled, adding that this newfound openness set a positive tone for their wedding day.

Alli, whose wedding will be highlighted in the upcoming finale of The McBee Dynasty, noted that during the pre-wedding discussions, they recognized they were “learning,” “growing,” and “moving in the right direction” before saying “I do.”

The couple told Us that their wedding day was meaningful on two fronts: it elevated their relationship and signified the start of their family journey leading up to daughter Summer’s arrival.

“My first trimester was quite challenging,” Alli remembered, sharing with Us that she was “obviously pregnant” during the wedding but, for a change, was not troubled by morning sickness.

She elaborated, “For some reason, I had an exceptionally good day on my wedding day; I felt fantastic. Everything went smoothly without any issues.”

Alli smiled as she recounted that moment, saying, “There were no problems. It was pretty much flawless throughout the entire day.”

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys season 2 finale will air on Monday, September 1, at 9 p.m. ET.
