Meghan Markle Shares Exciting News: Prince Archie’s First Tooth is Loose!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son, Prince Archie, is poised for a delightful visitor — the Tooth Fairy.
“Archie is losing his first tooth, and I just hope I can make it back in time for it,” Meghan, 43, shared during her appearance at the Time100 Summit in New York City on Wednesday, April 23. “That’s all that truly matters.”
Meghan and her husband, Harry, reside in Montecito, California, with their son Archie, 5, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 3. They made the move to the United States in 2020 after stepping back from their roles as senior working royals.
“I can confidently say that I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,” Meghan expressed on Wednesday regarding her family and bustling professional life. “Looking back at everything that has happened, I never would have imagined that I could feel so happy and grateful at this point.”
According to the Duchess of Sussex, her aim is to “just have fun.”
“My love language is taking care of people,” Meghan added. “It genuinely energizes me.”
In addition to her philanthropic efforts, the former actress has recently found acclaim with her “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast, the As Ever lifestyle brand, and the With Love, Meghan docuseries. In the Netflix show, Meghan shares her passions for cooking, gardening, and DIY crafts, including “flower sprinkles.”
“Think of flower sprinkles as a metaphor,” Meghan said during the summit. “[Consider] what you can do in your everyday life to add a touch of magic to unexpected moments.”
With Love, which has already been renewed for a second season, features several references to Archie and Lili. (Harry, 40, also makes a cameo in the finale.)
“It’s amusing that you keep saying ‘Markle.’ You know, it’s Sussex now,” she told guest Mindy Kaling in one episode. “When you have kids, you realize, ‘I share my name with my children.’ I didn’t anticipate how significant that would be for me; it means a lot to think, ‘This is our family name. Our little family now.’”
Meghan and Harry were granted the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex by Queen Elizabeth III upon their marriage in 2018. (The queen, who passed away in 2022, was Harry’s paternal grandmother and Lili’s namesake.)
While Meghan and Harry have been occupied with work since stepping back from royal duties, Archie has encouraged them to focus on self-care as well.
In a recent interview with People published last month, Meghan shared that Archie told her, “Mama, don’t work too hard” after waking up.
“It was the sweetest thing,” she reflected to the publication.
