Meghan Markle Stuns with Playful Style Statement Following Netflix Show Renewal Announcement
Meghan Markle is celebrating the renewal of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, for a new season with a playful fashion choice.
On Friday, March 7, Markle, who is 43, shared a Story on Instagram featuring a baseball cap emblazoned with “Lettuce Romaine Calm” in green letters and “With Love, Meghan” on the reverse, while joyfully dancing among wisteria in her garden at Montecito. She cheekily added “or not(!)” in her caption.
In parallel, Markle posted a carousel on Instagram, filled with another delightful cooking pun hidden in the caption. “Oh, how I love ASMR!” she remarked alongside several clips from the current season. “If you’re enjoying Season 1, just wait until you see the amazing fun we’ve prepared for Season 2!”
This announcement came shortly after the streaming service declared that the second season of the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle and cooking series has concluded filming and is set to debut in the fall.
Although specifics about the upcoming season remain largely undisclosed, Michael Steed continues to direct, indicating to Us that the show will likely maintain its high production quality both visually and tonally (and we are betting there will be plenty of additional puns).
The series commenced with visuals of bees, transitioning to Markle clad in a beekeeper’s suit as she harvested honey from her apiary, later melting beeswax to fashion candles. “We will have an abundance of honey, honey,” she stated to Branden Aroyan, who established the hives and collaborates with her monthly to oversee the colony.

Later in that episode, a chalkboard in the kitchen pantry displayed “Workin’ hard for the honey,” penned in Markle’s handwriting.
By episode four, Markle exited her Nancy Meyers-styled pantry, revealing the chalkboard now adorned with “Bready or not… here I crumb” in elegant cursive. (It’s worth noting that prior to her time as a royal and actress, Markle was a calligrapher, crafting wedding invitations—including those for Robin Thicke and Paula Patton.)

Markle has been known for her humorous food puns long before launching her Netflix series or lifestyle brand, As Ever. In a notable 2021 CBS interview, she remarked upon various tabloid articles that drew comparisons between her and Kate Middleton.
In a discussion about the avocado debates—where Middleton was celebrated for eating avocados while Markle faced criticism related to the environmental impact of her avocado consumption—she cleverly responded: “That’s really a loaded piece of toast.”
With the upcoming season on the horizon, Markle is once again enjoying a triumphant moment, with her witty approach to food at the forefront.
