Meghann Fahy Surprises Patrick Schwarzenegger with a Gift Inspired by ‘The White Lotus’

Two individuals who survived the chaos and drama of “The White Lotus” seasons came together on TODAY on April 10, presenting a unique gift to acknowledge the “trauma” they experienced during their time on the show.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, who portrayed Saxon Ratcliff in Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” was pleasantly surprised in the studio by Meghann Fahy, known for her role as Daphne in Season 2 of HBO’s acclaimed series.

“Just so you know, I make these T-shirts at home,” Fahy quipped, embracing Schwarzenegger as she made her way to the couch beside Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Andrew Rannells.

She held two vibrant pink T-shirts that proudly proclaimed on the front, “We survived ‘The White Lotus.'” The shirts featured images of both Fahy and Schwarzenegger’s characters.

“I make and sell these T-shirts, it’s no big deal,” Fahy continued playfully. “I just thought you should have one. It’s been a long time coming.”

“Oh wow, I’m definitely going to wear this,” Schwarzenegger exclaimed, eagerly inspecting the shirt.

Upon turning the shirt around, he revealed the back which, in the usual tourist T-shirt fashion, read “…And all I got was this stupid T-shirt.”

Both stars burst into laughter, with Fahy noting how frightened they both appeared on the shirt. “I love how traumatized we look on it,” she commented.

Schwarzenegger expressed his gratitude for the T-shirt, while Fahy clarified that she doesn’t actually produce the shirts for sale. He jokingly remarked that his would be listed on eBay after the show—though it seemed unlikely as he carefully draped it over his dress shirt and tie, keeping it there throughout the interview.

When the cameras were off, he put the shirt on and wore it around the studio for the rest of his appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Friends.

Could we see more of Saxon and Daphne?

Jenna then posed the idea of both actors returning to the luxurious and fictional hotel chain in another season.

“White Lotus” creator Mike White had previously mentioned to The Hollywood Reporter that he would be excited to create an “all-star” season.

“Who knows,” Schwarzenegger teased about the possibility. Earlier, he also hinted at a potential comeback for Saxon: “Never say never. Saxon might return. You just never know.”

Fahy told Entertainment Weekly that she would be thrilled to reprise her role and would do so “in a heartbeat.”
