TikTok beauty influencer Mikayla Nogueira Hawken is swapping out her lip glosses for Revlon’s Super Lustrous Glimmer Gloss.

After unveiling Revlon’s Glimmer Gloss, Nogueira, 26, shared her honest thoughts on the product exclusively with Us Weekly. “You heard it here first, the Super Lustrous Glimmer Gloss is the next ‘It Girl’ lip gloss,” the makeup artist exclaimed. “Whether I’m going for a natural look or full glam, these products enhance every mood with a touch of shimmer,” Nogueira expressed. “It’s not sticky or gritty like many other glosses; I’m in love!”

Launched on January 6, Revlon’s Glimmer Gloss features 10 shades described as a “total game-changer” by Nogueira. Her top pick? Bronze Spark, which she referred to as a “chef’s kiss!”

“I’m completely hooked on the hydrating and nourishing formula; it leaves my lips feeling soft and smooth after each use,” Nogueira shared. “I keep one of these glosses in every bag [along with the Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner] because I can’t leave home without it!”

Nogueira didn’t just rave about the product; she also offered Us tips on incorporating it into our glam routines. “For a night-out look, it’s all about layering shimmer! My current favorite lip combo is the iconic Super Lustrous Glass Shine Balm in Rum Raisin paired with the Super Lustrous Glimmer Gloss in Glazed Almond for a juicy, sparkly finish that lasts.”

On days when she goes makeup-free, Nogueira applies a bit of Lip Oil to keep her lips hydrated and glossy.

When it comes to confidence, Nogueira feels her best with black hair and a hint of self-tan. Recently, she added red highlights to her dark locks but mentioned to Us that she isn’t looking to try out other colors just yet.

“The red highlights didn’t stick around for long,” she joked. “I got them for the holidays to add some flair, but I’ve been dyeing my hair black for almost 15 years. I feel most confident with black hair.” Nogueira also expressed her love for the striking contrast between her dark hair and fair skin, accentuated by her unique green eyes.

“I’m naturally blonde, which is funny since most people only know me as a brunette. I don’t think I’ll ever revert back to my natural hair color,” Nogueira shared with Us. While she hasn’t seen any gray hairs yet, the only hair change she could envision is going fully silver.

Nogueira also confided in Us about her insecurities surrounding red lipstick. “I always remove it right after filming a video,” she admitted, saying it would be quite a leap for her to wear red on the red carpet — despite acknowledging it would be a “power move.”

“I really try to be confident and comfortable in a red lip, but I’ve yet to embrace it. I prefer to keep the attention on my eyes rather than my lips,” she explained.

For her everyday makeup routine, Nogueira uses a brightener from the Glimmer collection, the brand’s Brightening Concealer. “It’s like coffee for your face,” she said with a smile. “A small amount under my eyes makes me look like I actually got eight hours of sleep, even when I didn’t.”

Nogueira also recommended the Glimmer Blush Drops to Us, calling them a “dupe for some high-end products” available in the market.

With countless Instagram moments to capture, the need for long-lasting makeup during endless family gatherings, and perhaps even the pressure of impressing critical relatives…

Something she’s still trying to master is self-tanning. After joking that perfecting her tan at home is not her “strong suit” due to her hands always turning out “awful,” she shared a tip she received from a follower.

“I saw a comment suggesting to do your hands last when self-tanning, let it sit for ten minutes, then wash your hands. It worked really well!” Nogueira told Us. “For once, my hands actually matched the rest of me!” Her go-to tanning products include the Tree Hut scrub, Lux Unfiltered Shower Oil, and Sol De Janeiro Body Butter.
