Miley Cyrus’ Engagement Ring from Maxx Morando: Price, Carat Weight, and More Insights
Miley Cyrus’ engagement ring is truly unforgettable.
Cyrus, 33, proudly displayed her ring from new fiancé Maxx Morando at the Avatar: Fire And Ash premiere in Los Angeles on December 1. After her subtle announcement, which Page Six was quick to confirm, Blue Nile’s VP of Merchandising Daniela Tarantino informed Us Weekly on December 2, “This engagement ring features a chunky gold east-west bezel set design,” reflecting “a modern and chic trend we observe in the bridal industry.”
Tarantino mentioned that “the ring is estimated to be roughly 4 to 5 carats and valued between $300,000 and $450,000.”
Kristy Cullinane, a diamond jewelry expert and Co-Founder of Plum Diamonds, concurred, stating the diamond is “approximately 4 to 5 carats.”
“The estimated worth of the ring would be $200,000+ for a mined diamond or around $15,000 for a lab-grown diamond,” Cullinane added.
While showcasing her stunning ring, Cyrus also wore another diamond by Messika on her pointer finger, featuring a pear-shaped stone and a rectangular diamond on an embellished band. Additionally, she accessorized with a Messika diamond necklace and a double ring on her right hand.
With her left hand resting on Morando’s chest, she ensured her fans got a good look at her engagement ring. Cyrus—who has been dating Morando since December 2021—looked stunning in a black sequin Gucci gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline, a fitted bodice, and a dramatic pleated mermaid skirt.
Cyrus completed her glamorous look with expertly applied makeup, including dewy foundation, well-defined eyebrows, and bronzed cheeks. Her eye makeup featured smoky shadow, black pigment in her waterline, and a hint of mascara, rounded off with glossy pink lips. Her caramel-highlighted hair was styled in a voluminous blowout, perfectly parted to the side.
Morando, 27, appeared dapper in a black blazer and white dress shirt.
Cyrus isn’t the only star who has gone for an east-west engagement ring lately. Zendaya showcased her unique engagement ring from Tom Holland at the 2025 Golden Globes in January.
Her Jessica McCormack ring features an east-west cushion-cut diamond set in a gold band with a bezel.
Vice President of Verstelo Fine Jewelry, Lauren Grunstein, estimated Zendaya’s ring to be valued up to $500,000. (The couple began dating in 2016 after meeting during the filming of Spider-Man: Homecoming.)
“Assuming it boasts a very high-quality stone from a traditional retailer, the value could range from $300,000 to $500,000 for a naturally-grown diamond,” the company told Parade. If lab-grown, the ring might cost $20,000.
Dua Lipa also sports a similar engagement ring to Cyrus. Her custom piece from Callum Turner, with whom she’s been linked since January 2024, showcases a round 2-carat diamond set in a chunky gold band. This ring’s estimated value ranges from $65,000 to $270,000, according to People.
She confirmed their engagement in June 2025 during an interview with British Vogue. “Yes, we’re engaged,” she stated. “It’s very exciting.” Lipa also revealed that Turner, 35, involved her friends and sisters in the ring’s design process.
“I’m obsessed with it,” Lipa, 30, expressed. “It’s so me. It’s wonderful to know the person you’re going to spend your life with understands you so well.”
