Mormon Wives Stars Hint at Jessi and Jordan’s Struggles Following Affair Allegations
More information will emerge about Jessi Ngatikaura and her husband Jordan Ngatikaura as they navigate their ongoing marriage issues, particularly following Marciano Brunette’s claims of having an affair with Jessi on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, cast members Layla Taylor, Whitney Leavitt, and Miranda McWhorter discussed how Marciano’s allegations about meeting with Jessi, 32, while she is married to Jordan, 34, will be portrayed on screen.
“I was honestly just shocked when he told me. I came in hoping to learn more about the situation with Demi and him,” Layla, 24, shared. “But the focus quickly shifted to Jessi.”
Layla didn’t question Marciano’s accusations, as she was too taken aback.
“In that moment, it wasn’t even about who I believed. I was just taken aback and honestly didn’t know how to process the information,” she continued. “I just listened.”
Whitney confirmed that the cast is currently “filming,” which means answers may be right around the corner. Meanwhile, Layla hinted that Jessi has been facing challenges in her marriage with Jordan, but asserted that it is not due to Marciano.
“We’ll definitely discover what’s true and what isn’t. Ultimately, whatever is meant to happen in their marriage will happen,” Layla observed. “For Jessi’s mental health, it’s certainly tough handling public perception at this time.”
Layla stressed that the audience is not privy to the complete story yet. “She’s receiving feedback from fans, but the full narrative hasn’t yet come out,” she concluded. “So while she’s managing, Jessi is incredibly resilient. We’re all here for her, loving and supporting her.”
In the second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, it was Demi Engemann who initially faced accusations of getting too close to Marciano while filming Vanderpump Villa, even as she was married to Bret Engemann.
Demi denied any infidelity, prompting Marciano to clarify the rumors and make separate claims about Jessi. When asked about these claims during the May 20 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast, Jessi provided an update about her marriage.
“Reality TV is challenging for any relationship, whether it’s a friendship or marriage,” Jessi stated. “We’ve been through a lot, and now it’s all going public.”
When questioned about her missing wedding ring, Jessi explained that she and Jordan are “working through things,” adding, “We’re doing our best — but it’s quite complicated right now. I look forward to sharing more when the time is right. For now, it’s real life, and it’s tough.”
