Nia Sanchez from the Valley Discusses the Mommy Makeover After Motherhood
Nia Sanchez is eager to regain her confidence in her wardrobe as she contemplates a mommy makeover.
In the episode of The Valley that aired on Tuesday, July 15, the 35-year-old reality star decided to consult with Dr. Raffi Hovsepian, a triple board-certified plastic surgeon.
“My primary focus would be my breasts,” she stated, with her husband Danny Booko providing support. “They used to be beautiful and perky, and now I feel like they sag down to my belly button. My next concern is my stomach.”
Upon Dr. Raffi’s acknowledgment of potential “extreme damage” to her breasts from having three children, Nia felt overwhelmed with emotion. (At the time of filming, Nia and Danny were not expecting their fourth child, who would later be named Adelaide and arrived in June.)
“I honestly thought my breasts would bounce back,” Nia said, brushing away tears. “I don’t often look in the mirror because I remember how they used to be.”
Danny, 41, responded, “It’s unbelievable what your body has been through. I’m so proud of you. My top priority is to see you happy.”
Before the consultation began, Danny reminded Nia that she’s a “fricken smoke show.”
Despite receiving compliments, Nia expressed the mixed feelings she was experiencing before meeting with the doctor.
“I want to feel confident in my clothes again,” she explained. “With the right bra, I feel fine. But at home, I don’t love how I look. I’m still not back to my pre-baby sizes.”
Nia also revealed that her background in beauty pageants might have influenced her body image. (Before appearing on The Valley when it premiered in March 2024, Nia was crowned Miss USA 2014.)
“This summer, I feel like I’m at a crossroads: Are we having one more child, or is our family complete with three? If it’s the latter, then I absolutely want a mommy makeover,” she shared. “As a former Miss USA, it’s always on my mind. Society feels entitled to judge you. Much of my identity is tied to whether I’m fit or not. I want to love what I see in the mirror, and right now, I don’t.”
The Valley airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Past episodes are available to stream anytime on Peacock.
