Nicola Peltz’s Parents Face Lawsuit Over Allegations of Dog Attack by Former Housekeeper
Nicola Peltz’s wealthy parents, Nelson and Claudia, are facing a lawsuit from their former housekeeper, who claims their pit bull has caused her injuries through multiple attacks.
As reported by Page Six on Friday, May 23, the ex-housekeeper, Mileydis Morejon, is seeking $75,000 in damages.
According to the report, documents indicate that Morejon stated the “vicious” and “untrained” family dog, Houdini, attacked her several times in 2023 at the family’s $100 million mansion in Florida.
The documents reveal that in one incident, Morejon claimed the pit bull “ripped” her clothing, and in another, she “fell to the ground attempting to escape” after the dog reportedly “lunged at and attempted to attack the Plaintiff.” In yet another occurrence, Morejon stated she had to defend herself using a vacuum cleaner.
Morejon described Houdini as having a “vicious nature” and “disposition,” and claimed the defendants were aware or should have been aware of his “propensity to attack or attempt attacks.”
In the lawsuit, filed in December 2024, Morejon accuses her former employers, Nelson, 82, and Claudia, 70, of “negligence,” alleging that she endured “physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement,” along with “mental anguish.” She also claims losses in earnings and a diminished “capacity for enjoyment of life.”
According to Page Six, Morejon has also included hospital and medical fees in her lawsuit due to the claimed injuries from the dog attacks.
Nelson and Claudia have denied the allegations of negligence, filing their response in May 2025, as reported.
Their response stated it is “undisputed” that Morejon “did not suffer from a dog bite,” alleging that she had no physical contact with the dog and therefore should “not be entitled to recover compensation” related to the incidents.
According to Page Six, Nelson also contends that as the housekeeper, Morejon “interacted” with, “routinely encountered,” and “cleaned up after” Houdini, suggesting that she could have adapted to his behavior.

Nelson and Claudia became in-laws to Brooklyn Peltz Beckham in 2022 when he married their daughter, Nicola.
Nicola, 30, and Brooklyn, 26, are currently facing their own challenges as rumors about family tensions circulate.
The couple skipped Brooklyn’s father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month, rekindling speculation regarding any potential rifts within the extended family.
