Non-Big Game Viewing Options for the 2025 Super Bowl
There’s more to watch on TV this Sunday than just the 2025 Super Bowl.
For many across the U.S., Super Bowl Sunday is a time-honored tradition. This year, Fox will be streaming an entire day’s worth of football-related programming leading up to the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
However, not everyone is captivated by sports, and thankfully, there are some alternatives available. The Puppy Bowl has become a classic, with animal enthusiasts tuning in to witness an exciting event featuring 142 rescue dogs from 80 shelters across 40 states and two countries, competing in Team Ruff and Team Fluff.
Worried about missing it live? The 2025 Puppy Bowl will be available for streaming anytime on Max and Discovery+. Later in the evening, Fox will change gears by shifting the time slot of Rescue: HI-Surf to make room for The Floor after the Super Bowl concludes.
“Immediately after The Big Game on February 9, the season 3 premiere of Fox’s ultimate quiz show The Floor, hosted by Rob Lowe, will air,” according to a press release from November 2024. “In this series, which has maintained its position as the No. 1 game show for the second straight season, 100 contestants compete in trivia duels on a giant grid of squares representing their areas of expertise. The winner of each timed battle takes control of their opponent’s square, and only one will rise to dominate The Floor and win a transformative cash prize.”
