OnlyFans Model Discovered by the Side of the Road with Spinal Injuries: Report
OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk was reportedly found injured in Dubai after being missing for 10 days.
Kovalchuk, 20, had not been heard from since she informed friends about an invitation to a hotel party on March 9, as reported by The Daily Mail on Saturday, March 22. Concerns grew among her friends and family when she missed her flight to Thailand on March 11.
On Wednesday, March 19, Kovalchuk was allegedly discovered with multiple injuries, including a broken spine and limbs. She was swiftly taken to the hospital and underwent four surgeries, according to The Daily Mail.
Her mother, Anna Kovalchuk, told The Daily Mail that Maria is on the path to recovery. Anna mentioned that her daughter “is receiving medical treatment and everything will be all right [sic],” according to the outlet.
In a statement to The Mirror on Friday, March 21, Dubai Police confirmed that the Ukrainian citizen previously reported missing is hospitalized, receiving medical care with her family by her side. An in-depth investigation has indicated that she suffered serious injuries after entering a restricted construction site alone and falling from a height.
The statement further elaborated, “Dubai Police continue to collaborate closely with the family and relevant authorities to provide all needed assistance. The public and media are advised against sharing unverified information and to respect the privacy of the individual and her family during this difficult period.”
Maria’s family has reportedly disputed the police’s account, expressing disbelief that she fell from a construction site, as noted by The Daily Mail, citing the Russian news outlet Shot. Anna reportedly stated that she “cannot comment because of the investigation.”
The model had informed Anna that she was with two men who “identified themselves as representatives of the modeling business,” according to The Daily Mail, which referenced several Ukrainian media reports. Anna claimed she had not heard from Maria since.
“There is a theory that she might have attended a party. However, the promoter who organized these events did not see her. Maria was [eventually] found in serious condition in the hospital,” Anna explained to the outlet. “She has no documents, no phone, nothing. She underwent three [now four] operations. And she cannot speak.”
Maria’s friend Angelina Doroshenkova expressed to The Daily Mail, “We all hope for the best and are extremely thankful to everyone who participated in the search and provided information.”
