Pamela Anderson Shares Her Skincare Secrets at Sonsie Pop-Up (Exclusive)
Pamela Anderson opened up about her skincare routine for achieving a radiant, makeup-free look.
The 58-year-old actress shared insights with Us Weekly at a pop-up event in New York City, celebrating the launch of her skincare product, the Basic Balm in Sugar Dipped Rhubarb.
At the event, Anderson revealed to Us that if she could suggest one product from her line, it would be a topical designed to “support the skin barrier, resulting in radiant, smooth skin,” according to her website.
“That’s a tough choice,” she stated. “Right now, I’m really into the Adapt Cream. It really is a one-stop shop, and you can’t go wrong with it.”
Anderson mentioned, “I apply it whenever I notice dryness or redness. I find it incredibly effective.” She advised fans to always start with their “most hydrating products” during skincare routines. “If you’re using the [Sonsie] lineup, go for the cleanser, then the serum, and finish with the Adapt Cream.”
Regarding her current skincare regimen, Anderson attributes her glowing complexion to Sonsie, along with her healthy lifestyle choices. “I eat well, get plenty of sleep, stay hydrated, and keep my skincare routine simple,” she noted.
“I typically don’t wear makeup unless I’m working,” she elaborated, explaining that she opts for a fresh face to let her skin “breathe” unless she is filming or performing.
Anderson emphasized, “I never wear makeup on the red carpet. Occasionally I might dab some on, but 95 percent of my red carpet appearances have been without it.” She joked, “It’s not a no-makeup [makeup] look. It truly is zero makeup.”
In 2023, Anderson revealed that after losing her longtime makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, to breast cancer in 2019, she decided to stop wearing makeup. “[Vogel] was extraordinary,” Anderson stated to Elle at the time. “Without Alexis, I’ve found it’s better for me to embrace my natural look.”
While she generally prefers a natural appearance, Anderson mentioned that if she does wear lip gloss, it’s her Basic Balm in Sugar Dipped Rhubarb, set to launch on Tuesday, October 28. “Now I have a little shimmer. So that’s fancy!” she shared with Us.
The Baywatch star revealed that her skincare approach remains consistent through seasonal changes, but when traveling, she doubles down on her Multi Moisture Cream.
“I slather it everywhere,” she told Us. “It makes me feel so much better, and it’s essential to drink more water while traveling to stay hydrated.”
One of her hydration secrets is her Glow Green Juice from her cookbook, I Love You: Recipes From the Heart.
“I make celery juice,” she shared with Us. “My Glow Juice from my cookbook is really beneficial for the skin.”
Inspired by her garden in Vancouver Island, Anderson developed Sonsie by crafting products at home. She told Us that her next DIY venture is creating rose oil for her body.
“It’s nearly time to harvest roses, which is when I infuse them in oil, bake it for a while, and then strain it,” she explained to Us. “It works wonders for the face too. I love adding it to my bath.”
