Patrick Dempsey’s Twins, Darby and Sullivan, Celebrate High School Graduation
Patrick Dempsey’s twin sons have grown up — and the actor couldn’t be happier!
Dempsey, 59, posted a rare image of his twin sons, Darby and Sullivan, who recently turned 18 and graduated from high school. He shared a picture with the twins and their mother, Jillian Fink, on Instagram, captioning it, “Graduation!! So proud of you boys and can’t wait to see where the next chapter of your lives takes you!”
Dempsey and Fink also have a daughter, Talula. Although the couple separated in 2015, they reconciled a year later.
Jillian first filed for divorce from the Grey’s Anatomy star in January 2015, citing irreconcilable differences and requesting spousal support alongside joint custody of their three children. However, neither party pursued the divorce, and they reunited later that year.
“You have to work at everything. And you cannot do everything. Something has to be sacrificed,” Patrick shared with ES magazine in May 2016 after confirming his rekindled relationship with Jillian.
The couple attended the London premiere of Dempsey’s movie Ferrari in December 2023. On that same day, Jillian shared two photos of them together on the red carpet, captioning: “UK Premiere of @ferrarithemovie with @patrickdempsey ♥️🏎️.” She also detailed their outfits for the evening, mentioning that Patrick was styled by celebrity stylist Warren Alfie Baker and that she handled his grooming.
In March, Dempsey announced he does not intend to return to the Scream franchise.
“It just didn’t work out — we were dealing with wildfires and other events, and the schedule unfortunately didn’t align,” Dempsey told Variety during a March 2 interview, referencing the wildfires that affected areas near Los Angeles in January.
The actor was originally set to reprise his role as detective Mark Kincaid, a part he first played in Scream 3. He ultimately declined due to scheduling conflicts as he was engaged in filming Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon.
However, in October 2024, Dempsey mentioned on the Today show that there had been a “conversation” about him rejoining the franchise, but he was “waiting on the script.”
