Porsha Williams Seeks Justice in Exclusive Trailer for Single Black Female 3
Porsha Williams is pursuing justice, as revealed in Us Weekly’s exclusive first look at the trailer for Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter.
“Monica, how does it feel to have the charges against you dropped?” asks The Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s character, Detective Ebony Williams, in dialogue with Raven Goodwin, who portrays Monica and acts as an executive producer for the Lifetime trilogy. The full trailer is set to be released on Saturday, March 1.
The scene unfolds with Monica standing before reporters, declaring, “the murderer is still out there.” Following her statement, viewers catch a glimpse of Amber Riley’s character, Simone, brandishing a gun aimed at Monica.
Monica and Simone were first introduced in the 2022 film Single Black Female. In this initial entry of the horror series, Monica, dealing with her father’s death and a recent breakup, is beginning anew as she takes on a role as an afternoon talk show host. She soon becomes friends with her assistant, Simone.
Yet, it’s eventually uncovered that Simone harbors sinister intentions. She makes attempts on Monica’s life and uncovers that they are actually half-sisters.
Initially presumed dead in a fire, the second film discloses that Simone survived but suffered from amnesia. As her memory returns, she sets out for vengeance.
After surviving Simone’s first assassination attempt, Monica retaliates in the sequel. Simone targets Monica’s romantic interest, a detective named Trevor Williams (Kendrick Cross). Eventually, Simone seduces Trevor and kills him, leading to Monica being wrongfully accused of the murder. However, she is cleared by the film’s conclusion.

The third film continues where the previous installment concluded, with investigators probing Trevor’s death, led by Ebony, as he was her brother.
“There are only two people who could have killed my brother,” Ebony declares over the phone. “Monica or Simone.”

Ebony swears that Monica will “pay” for what transpired with Trevor — but Monica has greater concerns as she prepares for her final confrontation with Simone.
Single Black Female 3 marks the conclusion of the Lifetime franchise. Starring alongside Williams, Goodwin, and Riley are K. Michelle and Kennedy Chanel.
The premiere of Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter is set for Saturday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
