Premiere Date Announced for Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives concluded with an intense cliffhanger surrounding Marciano Brunette’s purported affair with Jessi Ngatikaura. Fortunately, filming continued, and season 3 might arrive sooner than we think.
This popular Hulu series, which made its debut in September 2024, introduced Us to a collection of Mormon mom influencers from Utah. The first season featured Jessi, Jen Affleck, Demi Engemann, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Taylor Frankie Paul, and Layla Taylor.
Following its success, season 2 launched less than a year later, adding Miranda McWhorter to the ensemble. The series not only showcased dramatic departures from MomTok, conflicts among cast members, and relationship struggles, but also threw a unexpected twist into the mix when Marciano, known from Vanderpump Villa, claimed he had formed a bond with Demi—who is married—only to later allege an affair with Jessi, who is also married, at the end of season 2.
The second season wrapped up with this dramatic revelation, but thankfully, season 3 is already underway. As fans eagerly await the next set of episodes, the cast has kept Us captivated with their remarks on various podcasts and interviews.
While Jessi couldn’t divulge much regarding Marciano’s claims of their onscreen romance, she hinted in May 2025 that there was “so much more” to the narrative.
“Relationships are complicated and complex. There’s so much more I’m eager to share because I think people will relate to my experience,” she expressed on “The Viall Files” podcast. “I believe it might help others.”

Has the Show Been Renewed?
The inaugural season, which launched in September 2024, quickly became a sensation for Hulu. The streaming platform consequently greenlit a 20-episode renewal, with season 2 featuring 10 episodes. The upcoming 10 episodes are set to drop on Hulu Thursday, November 13.
When Did Filming Begin?
In an exclusive chat with Us Weekly in May 2025, Whitney confirmed that the cast was “currently filming.” They teased that the cameras remained rolling even after season 2 wrapped, indicating minimal gaps between events onscreen.
What’s Demi’s Current Relationship with the Cast Amid Filming?
Season 2 was a rough patch for Demi, who found herself at odds
with much of MomTok. By the time the promotional phase for season 2 kicked off, she was primarily only close to Whitney and not communicating with the others.
“There are definitely aspects of Demi’s actions that I don’t agree with — and I’ll express that to her directly. She’s aware of that,” Whitney shared with Us. “But more than anything, I just understand that everyone is undergoing something.”
Despite differing opinions on some of Demi’s choices, Whitney stood by their friendship, stating, “There’s a reason for everyone’s reactions, and I like to believe that the intention here is not to be malicious or to hurt anyone. It goes deeper than that, and unfortunately, hurt people tend to hurt others.”
Whitney also discussed Demi’s future in MomTok.
“In this group, it’s essential to compartmentalize relationships. Demi is an adult. If she opts out and chooses not to be part of it anymore, that’s her call,” she expressed to Us. “But I won’t follow her lead and say, ‘Alright, I’m out too.’ If I decide to leave, it must be my own choice.”
Will Marciano’s Claims Be Addressed?
The second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives ended with a “To Be Continued” message along with additional footage exploring the aftermath of Marciano’s allegations. He mentioned in a voiceover that the situation is “much larger” than people perceive, while Jessi’s husband, Jordan, questioned the rumors.
“This is going to make headlines. The truth eventually comes to light,” Jordan expressed in another scene while alleging that the drama was “Demi’s doing” behind the scenes.
Jessi, too, seemed to hold Demi accountable for spreading false information. “He knows this is damaging my family and my life,” she stated before accusing Demi of “fabricating” the affair allegations.
Who Else Has Weighed In Beyond the Cast?
Scheana Shay, formerly close with Demi, Marciano, and Jessi, shared her perspective on the situation prior to season 3’s premiere.
“I haven’t signed any NDA, so I can speak freely,” Scheana stated on her podcast in May 2025. “I have Marciano hinting at things, saying, ‘Yeah, that happened last night.’ I told Jessi, ‘I know both of your locations overlapped.’ She replied, ‘No, he went to see another girl and didn’t want to go home that late. He asked to crash in my hotel room and just slept on the couch.’”
Have There Been Offscreen Developments?
Following the release of season 2, Jessi confirmed rumors about difficulties in her marriage with Jordan.
“Reality TV is tough on any relationship, be it a friendship or a marriage,” Jessi confessed on an episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. “We’ve faced a lot, and now it’s all going public.”
Jessi revealed that she was not currently wearing her wedding ring as she and Jordan “work through things,” adding, “We’re trying our best — but things are a bit complicated right now. I’m looking forward to sharing more when the time is right. For now, it’s just real life, and it’s challenging.”
Host Nick Viall inquired if Jessi considered Jordan a “role model” for her daughters’ future partners.
“No, I believe there’s been a lot occurring,” she responded. “We both want to improve and make changes. However, he should probably be asked that question himself; it might awaken something in him. But no, there are certainly aspects
that need to change.”
Viall hinted that he had heard concerning things about Jordan that left him “really disappointed.”
“I hope they’re not true. Clearly, you can’t share with me,” he remarked. “But your answer is quite telling. I would appreciate the chance to discuss some of the things I’ve heard with him if they turn out to be true because they’re really disheartening.”
Has Jessi Addressed Marciano’s Claims?
Jessi clarified in May 2025 that the truth behind the allegations is more complex, telling Bustle, “What he made it sound like isn’t accurate. I wish I could discuss it right now… Honestly, yeah, he’s a piece of s***.”
Could More MomTok Members Join the Show?
Miranda joined the cast in season 2 after being linked to Taylor’s soft swinging scandal. Camille Munday was named as well but has denied any involvement with the scandal or intentions to join the series.
In May 2025, fans speculated after Camille filmed multiple TikToks with Taylor and Miranda.
“It’s beyond my control, and they have a show to produce. I don’t see how it wouldn’t happen,” Taylor told Us in October 2024 regarding possible reunions with older MomTok members on screen. “Many of these situations will be triggering — and when the time comes to face them, I’ll have to.”
According to Taylor, Camille congratulated her on the show. In contrast, Miranda wasn’t as amicable.
“There’s some tension from me revealing my story, and she’s likely the one people are hinting at. So, she probably feels a lot of discomfort toward me,” she explained to Us. “I’ve confronted her on several occasions, so I doubt she’s fond of me. I can imagine it would be quite uncomfortable for her to appear if she chooses to.”
What Did the Trailer Hint At?
The season 3 trailer showcased Jordan’s immediate reaction to the rumors about Marciano and Jessi. “If I learn anything more, I’m out,” he warned Jessi, who was later seen confronting Marciano with, “Why did you lie to Layla about us?”
Marciano suggested he was “influenced” by Demi and even agreed to a lie detector test with Jessi to clarify their interactions.
Just two months prior to the reunion airing, Marciano urged Bret on Instagram to reach out to him.
“You’re claiming Jen is 100 percent false when Jen is spot on. Dude, you’re intelligent. You’re not delusional. It’s commendable that you wish to defend your woman like that. But you might not know the full truth,” Marciano asserted. “You heard Jen; she says she has evidence. If she has proof, just imagine what I have. Even without any evidence, we were at Vanderpump Villa at the same time, and it’s all on camera. All I’m saying is, if you want the truth, get my number and let’s talk.”
What Is Season 3 About?
With Hulu confirming the premiere of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 3 in November, fans received a glimpse of what’s ahead.
“#Momtok returns, but damaging revelations and allegations jeopardize its future. The cast confronts a crisis of friendship as loyalties shift, trust is tested, and the lines between fact and fiction become blurred,” the show’s synopsis reveals. “As the quest for the truth questions character, a morality war erupts, leading to a clash between #Momtok and #Dadtok. With their sisterhood and everything they’ve built in jeopardy, can the women navigate a path to redemption? Or will their collective misdeeds lead to the demise of #Momtok?”
