Prince William Jokes About ‘Getting Tipsy’ on Eugene Levy’s Travel Show

Prince William will make an unexpected appearance in season 3 of Eugene Levy’s travel series — and he’s ready to have some fun.

“Was getting drunk with Prince William on your bucket list?” William, 43, asks Levy, 78, in the official trailer for the upcoming season of The Reluctant Traveler, released on Thursday, September 4.

As they stroll through Windsor Great Park in England, Levy grins widely, exclaiming, “That’s the bucket!” William chuckles before replying, “That’s the bucket, is it?”

The details of the prince’s outing with Levy, which appears to involve having a few drinks together in the U.K., were not further revealed.

Rob McElhenney is hosting another royal family member in Wrexham. On Friday, March 1, Prince William joined the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor in Wrexham, Wales, to celebrate St. David’s Day, where they visited The Turf pub to pull a beer and take a shot together.

However, Levy teased the locations he’ll explore in season 3 of his Apple TV+ series, which include the United Kingdom.

“I’ve challenged myself to complete my own bucket list before actually kicking the bucket,” Levy mentions in the trailer for the new season, set to premiere later this month.

The Schitt’s Creek star explains, “Apparently, these are some of the greatest once-in-a-lifetime travel experiences you can have.”

The trailer offers glimpses of Levy celebrating the Day of the Dead in Oaxaca, Mexico, driving an RV across the U.S., and having a good time in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day.

Levy will also explore “a jewel of India” and dive into “living the royal life in the United Kingdom,” as per the trailer.

“And I’ll be sharing some of these adventures with a few friends,” Levy adds, mentioning his daughter, Sarah Levy, beloved Canadian icon Michael Bublé, and, of course, the Prince of Wales.

A royal toast! Prince William and Princess Kate engaged in some friendly rivalry during their visit to Northern Ireland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 40, faced off in a cocktail-making contest in Belfast on Thursday, October 6. They shared a video of their playful competition on Twitter, captioning it, “Who did it […]

While William typically maintains decorum when performing his royal duties, he does enjoy a pint every now and then. He has been spotted sipping Guinness with his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, during previous visits to Ireland, as well as celebrating big sports wins with a drink.

William’s cousin-in-law Mike Tindall jokingly referred to the prince as a lightweight when it comes to drinking during a December 2023 podcast.

“The Prince of Wales is known to me as ‘One Pint Willy’ because he’s not the best of drinkers,” Mike, married to William’s cousin Zara Tindall, shared during an episode of BBC’s “The Total Sports” podcast’s “Seven: Rob Burrow” series.

The former rugby player, 46, added, “[I am] coming from a sport where enjoyment and a couple of beers are a staple. That’s one title I’ll gladly give to the Prince of Wales. ‘One Pint Willy.’ It’s out there now. Sorry, sir!”

Fans will get to witness how much it takes to potentially get William tipsy when his episode of Eugene’s The Reluctant Traveler airs.

Season 3 of The Reluctant Traveler premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 19.
