RHOC’s Vicki and Tamra Speculate on Shannon’s Response to Their New Friendship

Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge are unfazed by what others — including Shannon Beador — say about their renewed friendship.

“I’ve known Vicki longer than anyone else, and it’s not right for anyone to dictate who we should be friends with,” Tamra, 58, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, November 5, while promoting FlavCity Café. “I believe Vicki feels the same way.”

Vicki, 63, added, “That’s exactly why we connected — we don’t care what others think.”

On Friday, November 7, Us reported that Vicki and Tamra have reconciled after their previous disagreements. The two, along with Shannon, 61, were once very close on The Real Housewives of Orange County and even started a “Tres Amigas” tour inspired by their friendship.

When questioned about Shannon’s potential feelings regarding their friendship, both seemed unperturbed.

“No, that’s not the case. And if she is upset, that’s just silly,” Vicki told Us. “I can engage with whoever I choose. I’m free to be friends with anyone I want. We’re not criticizing Shannon. Actually, we had a lovely conversation. Tamra expressed that she cares about Shannon.”

Despite a tumultuous season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, airing Thursdays on Bravo, Tamra acknowledged her affection for Shannon.

“When you truly love someone and they hurt you, there are very real reactions that occur,” she reflected.

Vicki, Tamra, and Shannon appeared together on The Real Housewives of Orange County from seasons 9 to 13. While they faced their share of drama, they also enjoyed many moments of laughter on cast trips, themed parties, and other adventures.

“Wow, we had such a good time,” Vicki reminisced about their “Tres Amigas” friendship. “We traveled, laughed, sang, and danced, even though none of us knew how! It was a blast.”

This was just one of the many topics Tamra and Vicki explored as they re-established their friendship.

While collaborating with FlavCity Café — a new line of all-in-one instant lattes — Tamra and Vicki were able to bond on a deeper level, away from prying eyes.

“Vicki and I don’t discuss the show,” Tamra clarified. “We chat about our kids, and she filled me in on [her daughter] Briana and her son [Michael], and where they’ve relocated. We talk about our relationships and everything in between.”

After many dramatic seasons on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki is eager to steer clear of negativity and focus on the positive. She’s also refraining from discussing whether she might return for season 20.

“I want a fulfilling life. I’m committed to creating that,” she shared. “I have a beautiful life, and so do you [Tamra].”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET. Stream previous episodes anytime on Peacock.
