RHONJ’s Rachel Fuda Welcomes New Baby with Husband John
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Rachel Fuda and her husband, John Fuda, have joyfully welcomed their newest addition through IVF.
On Wednesday, February 19, Rachel, 33, gave birth to their son, Lorenzo Antonio Fuda, as reported by People.
“With the arrival of our last baby, our family has blossomed into everything we envisioned — a beautiful circle of six hearts, united by love, laughter, and our shared journey,” she shared with the publication. “This little soul is the final piece, the sweetest conclusion to a chapter of beginnings, and the start of a lifetime filled with cherished moments together. Our hearts are fuller, our home is brighter — our baby boy is here, and I feel so thankful to be a mother once more.”
Rachel and John are already parents to daughters Gianella and Giuliana, both conceived through IVF. Additionally, Rachel is the adoptive mother to John’s son, Jaiden, from a previous relationship.
In the season 14 special “Off the Rails,” aired in August 2024, Rachel surprised her RHONJ costars by announcing her pregnancy during a toast. As Melissa Gorga began, “There’s a lot of life to be had …” Rachel cut in with, “Considering I’m pregnant!”
She celebrated the news on Instagram, sharing, “As a little girl, I always dreamt of my life as a mother, surrounded by family and love in our home.” She posted a video of the family capturing their pregnancy announcement photos at the beach. “I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to realize that dream every single day. With grateful hearts, we are counting our blessings while eagerly anticipating our family of six.”
During season 13 of the Bravo reality series, Rachel candidly discussed her fertility journey, expressing her desire to undergo IVF again with the five viable embryos they had remaining.
“The clock is ticking,” she remarked. “I believe that four kids is a great number. The time is now. This is a year-long process. I want to make this happen and then move on.”
Rachel has been open about balancing her roles as a mother with her commitments to the show, sharing how she began filming the 13th season just seven weeks after giving birth to Giuliana.
“It was challenging. You don’t feel like yourself,” she told Us Weekly in 2022. “You feel uncomfortable. Your body doesn’t quite feel like yours yet. It was definitely tough, both mentally and emotionally, but I believe I managed it quite well.”
Rachel expressed gratitude for her family’s “incredible support system” during this demanding time.
“I am incredibly grateful for that,” she continued. “I wouldn’t have been able to navigate any of this without my parents, husband, and brother and sister-in-law.”
As Rachel shared her IVF experience on the show, she connected deeply with RHONJ producer Maggie Langtry, who was undergoing similar challenges.
“I hadn’t shared much with my family or friends about my IVF journey, and I just opened up to you,” Langtry told Rachel in a June 2024 episode.
“That means so much to me,” Rachel replied. “It shows that you felt comfortable enough to confide in me. That honesty and conversation created a bond between us. We’re now friends and IVF buddies.”
