RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga Come Together on Christmas Eve Following Feud

Having put their differences aside, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga came together to celebrate Christmas Eve — complete with sprinkle and pignoli cookies.

“Just trying to capture a family photo,” Gorga, 46, shared in an Instagram Story on December 24, showcasing a joyful moment with Giudice, 53, and their relatives. Among them was Giudice’s brother Joe Gorga, as they all celebrated the holiday with smiles.

Giudice’s daughters shared memorable moments from the night, including a humorous reenactment of their legendary cookie disagreement. (In season 3 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice reminisced about discarding a box of sprinkle cookies that a then-pregnant Melissa had brought on Christmas Eve, a moment that inspired a popular TikTok sound.)

After a long-standing feud that led to a pause in RHONJ, the duo confirmed their plans to reunite for the holidays. In November, they met for lunch, working to resolve their differences alongside Giudice’s brother and Melissa’s husband, Joe, 51.

Nobody benefits from family disputes. Teresa Giudice’s relationships with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga may be irreparably damaged after they skipped her wedding to Luis Ruelas in August 2022. A source revealed to Us Weekly, “Joe and Melissa made a last-minute decision not to attend after a major argument.”

“The meeting went well,” a source informed Us Weekly in November. “They talked about moving past the show’s drama. Progress is being made, but it won’t happen instantly.”

Another chance for reconciliation arose during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas.

“I could see the relief on my husband’s face, which is so important. It’s about the siblings and the kids, and it impacts everyone,” Melissa shared with Us in November regarding their reconciliation. “Seeing that relief in Joe’s eyes made me think, ‘I’m all in. Let’s make this work.’”

Melissa expressed her desire for their family to find happiness, stating, “We can’t dwell too much on the past, as it just leads us in circles. It’s better to acknowledge our mistakes and focus on moving forward. We’re looking to learn and grow from this.”

She added, “This has gone on for far too long. Clearly, there have been discussions and time for reflection. It’s time to bring this to a close.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise has seen many stars exit over the years, and Us Weekly is revisiting their journeys to discover where they are now. OG cast member Caroline Manzo departed the show in 2014 and has since shared her experiences.

Giudice also shared her thoughts on her relationship with Melissa and Joe. “Ask my brother; I tend to hold grudges. I’m quite traditional,” she admitted to Us. “For me to reach this point is significant. He understood that I was upset about previous events. … Families should be united, and I want to showcase what a true Italian family represents.”

Teresa emphasized the importance of demonstrating to her children that moving forward is possible.

“I aim to show America that reconciliation is possible,” she explained. “I want our children to see it, too; it matters immensely.”

Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice expressed her joy at renewing her relationship with her uncle.

“He was my best friend,” Gia, 24, shared with Us at the event. “It’s a relationship we’re both eager to rebuild. It feels refreshing, like a heavy weight has been lifted. I’ve always wanted this since childhood, and I’m overjoyed we are finally arriving at this point.”
