Rose Sombke has put to rest speculation about a potential appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.

The 27-year-old, who made the choice to self-eliminate during season 29 of The Bachelor in February, took to TikTok on Sunday, May 4, to clarify the online rumors initiated by Steve Carbone, also known as blogger Reality Steve.

Opening her TikTok with the text, “PSA after waking up to videos and screenshots saying I’m going on paradise,” Rose conveyed her thoughts to fans regarding “Reality Steve,” who allegedly suggested she recently quit her job to focus on a new reality TV opportunity.

“I’m sorry you got it so wrong. I quit my job ‘cause I wanted to. Not ‘cause I’m going on Paradise,” Rose stated in the video. “I need water.”

During her time on The Bachelor, Rose made the decision to eliminate herself from the quest for Grant Ellis’ affection during the show’s fourth week after an intense situation with Carolina Quizano. In week three, Rose had informed Carolina, 28, that Grant mentioned he was thinking of Rose during his solo dance with Carolina on a group date. Grant later denied the claim, but it had already affected Carolina, who confronted him, impacting his relationship with Rose.

Ultimately, Rose decided to bow out in February, telling Grant, 31, she would not continue ahead of that week’s rose ceremony.

“I’ve been struggling for a while, trying to stay and deal with my emotions. What happened with Carolina undermined so much of the positivity in my relationship,” Rose explained to the cameras at that moment. “This is definitely a tipping point for me.”

Grant ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa in the Bachelor finale on March 24, and the couple remains engaged after Grant moved on from Litia Garr.

Rose had previously voiced her discontent with her job on TikTok, sharing a post on March 30 that depicted her looking overwhelmed, accompanied by the caption, “Omw to work on a Friday night when you have to work every other weekend, miss every event, birthdays, concerts, girls nights, holiday celebrations, what else am I missing.”

She added, “the #FOMO is so real for #nightshift this truly is another type of heck #nursing.”
