Sara and Joey from Love Is Blind Reveal Apartment Flooding Chaos
Love Is Blind’s Sara Carton and Joey Leveille provided a glimpse into a dramatic flooding incident at Sara’s apartment.
On Sunday, August 10, they took to Instagram Stories to share videos showing water pouring into Sara’s rented apartment, with the season 8 co-stars capturing multiple angles of the chaotic situation.
In her footage, Sara, 29, showed her drenched wardrobe carpet and a bathroom filled with water. She was heard asking Joey, “Do you have your headlamp, Joey?” to which he responded, “No.” She captioned her clip, “Laughing through the stress. My entire apartment stack is flooded. Please send positive vibes our way — we’ll need it.”
Joey, 35, who went Instagram official with Sara in July, also shared clips that showed water inundating the living area, entrance, and kitchen, with furniture piled high to mitigate the damage.
“#SundayScaries,” Joey captioned his video, as he playfully tapped his feet in the water beneath him, tagging his girlfriend in the post. Sara then reshared Joey’s clip on her account, writing, “But everything’s ruined. I’m fine; everything is fine.”
In her video, Sara also reached out to anyone who might have faced similar issues: “If you have any advice on renters insurance claims, send me your tips and tricks,” she asked.

Just two days before, Sara posted an Instagram grid photo collection that featured a clip of her and Joey cuddled up on her couch, deciding what to watch, eventually landing on Netflix’s Trainwreck Poop Cruise.
The collection also included several affectionate snaps of Sara and Joey, both of whom walked down their respective Love Is Blind aisles (though they did not marry) to their pod partners Ben Mezzenga and Monica Danús, respectively.

Sara and Joey confirmed their relationship through an Instagram carousel shared from both profiles on July 13. The post featured two pictures of the couple on a rooftop — one where they smiled at the camera and another where they shared a kiss.
Sara captioned the carousel, “Happy. My newest life chapter title,” before Joey reposted it.
This confirmation followed an initial denial from Sara regarding her romantic relationship with Joey, during an appearance on the May 8 episode of the “Dear Shandy” podcast, where she noted they were “exploring” their relationship. “[We are] dating in the sense of getting to know each other better,” Sara shared during the episode.
