Sarah Ferguson Enters Wellness Clinic Following Epstein Scandal: Report

Sarah Ferguson has reportedly entered a luxury wellness clinic following the resurfacing of her and ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Ferguson, 66, is said to have checked into an “upscale wellness facility” in Switzerland last month, as per the Daily Mail. The publication also mentioned that the Duchess of York remained at the clinic until the end of January.

Us Weekly has reached out to Ferguson’s representatives for a statement.

Ferguson and her former husband, who divorced in 1996, recently garnered attention for their past ties to Epstein. Previously released emails by the Department of Justice, in accordance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, showed that Ferguson once referred to Epstein, who died in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking, as a “supreme friend.”

A spokesperson for Ferguson stated that the former duchess’ email was intended to counter a purported defamation threat from Epstein.

“The duchess has expressed regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as always, her primary concern is for his victims. Like many others, she was misled by his deceptive persona,” Ferguson’s representative told the BBC in a September 2025 statement. “Once aware of the severity of the allegations against him, she severed ties and publicly condemned him, to the point where he threatened to sue her for defamation regarding his links to pedophilia.”

The spokesperson continued, “She stands by everything she stated at that time. This email was sent based on advice she received to placate Epstein and his threats.”

Andrew was arrested on Thursday, February 19, for alleged misconduct in public office. Local law enforcement later indicated they were investigating whether Andrew relayed confidential information to Epstein during his time as a U.K. trade envoy.

“I have learned with deep concern about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the allegations of misconduct in public office,” King Charles III commented in a Thursday statement. “What follows is a thorough, fair, and proper process to investigate this matter by the appropriate authorities. As I have said previously, they have our full support and cooperation.”

The monarch added, “Let me be clear: the law must take its due course. It would not be appropriate for me to comment further while this investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue our duty and service to all of you.”

Andrew, who has not publicly commented on the allegations, was released from police custody within hours of his arrest. Ferguson, who shares two daughters with Andrew, has not publicly responded to the former Duke of York’s arrest.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles in October 2025 due to his past associations with Epstein.

“After discussions with The King, my immediate family, and my wider family, we have concluded that the ongoing accusations about me detract from His Majesty and the Royal Family’s duties,” Andrew stated at the time. “I have chosen, as I have always done, to prioritize my responsibilities to my family and country. I stand by my decision made five years ago to withdraw from public life.”
