Eager to return to the world of #MomTok? Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season.
When does ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ premiere for Season 2?
The second season of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will launch on Hulu on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
What will Season 2 of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ cover?
Hulu reveals that Season 2 will stir things up with the introduction of a new cast member. A woman named Miranda is highlighted in the trailer as “the girl that was swinging with Taylor.”
This Miranda is likely Miranda McWhorter, whose ex-husband Chase McWhorter confirmed their involvement in a “soft swinging” group within the #MomTok community in an interview with Us Weekly.
“When an original swinger from their notorious scandal returns unexpectedly, friendships are put to the test as secrets, lies, and accusations surface. Will betrayal fracture the sisterhood, or will the truth bring freedom?” reads the season description.
Hulu previously announced that Season 2 will consist of 20 episodes.
Although the specific filming dates remain unclear, three members of the #MomTok group — Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, and Mayci Neeley — are currently expecting, which may factor into Season 2’s storyline.
Who stars in ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’?
Hulu lists Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Mathews, and Whitney Leavitt as the returning Season 2 cast.
It’s still uncertain if McWhorter will officially join the cast, although she is featured in the trailer.
Hulu has just released a trailer for Season 2
The Season 2 trailer runs for just 30 seconds but is packed with action. It opens with Mayci Neeley asking, “Where is everyone at in #MomTok?”
Whitney Leavitt then updates viewers about her friend group, saying, “They’re holding grudges because, I don’t even know why.”
Taylor Frankie Paul appears next with her partner Dakota Mortensen, who states, “I don’t want to fight with you.” To which she replies, “Then don’t.”

Jen Affleck, who faced marital issues at the end of Season 1, is shown opening the door to find her husband Zac Affleck waiting with flowers. She grins subtly at him. The Afflecks are anticipating their third child.
As the #MomTok group enjoys an outing, someone asks, “Is that Miranda?” to which another responds, “Wait, that’s the girl that was swinging with Taylor.”
The brief clip also hints at a pregnancy reveal, a confrontation that necessitates a police call, and a plethora of other drama.
“Honestly, the show must go on,” Demi Engemann asserts at the trailer’s conclusion.
What transpired at the conclusion of Season 1?
Season 1 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” ended with several cliffhangers. For instance, Jen Affleck was dealing with marital troubles and a possible relocation to New York. The relationship between Paul and Mortensen was also uncertain.
Leavitt’s choice to exit the #MomTok group cast a shadow over the prospects of a second season, but the influencer will be returning for Season 2.
