Stephen Baldwin Praises Hailey Bieber’s Intelligence Following $1B Rhode Deal
Stephen Baldwin is definitely a proud father!
The 59-year-old actor recently commented on e.l.f. Beauty’s $1 billion purchase of his daughter Hailey Bieber’s Rhode skincare line, which Bieber, 28, launched back in 2022.
“The amazing part is she’s incredibly smart, especially in business,” Baldwin noted in a recent episode of “The Adam Corolla Show” podcast. “She had already made a name for herself as a model before moving into her current ventures. What’s particularly impressive is that she had a major opportunity in cosmetics a couple of years ago and chose not to take it.”
Instead, as Baldwin explained, Bieber focused on creating a product she would personally want to use.
“The secret to its success is that people genuinely respond to it. It provides real hydration and more,” he stated.
Baldwin, who is also the proud father of Alaia, 32, expressed his admiration for both daughters and their achievements, including their romantic partners.
“I’m fortunate that my two daughters have married two wonderful men,” said the Usual Suspects actor.
“What’s truly sweet about my kids is, despite their success, their dad remains the same person. I’ve always stayed true to myself. You can always count on me to tell my daughter the truth,” he added.
Bieber announced the acquisition of her beauty brand by e.l.f. in May through her Instagram account. This deal officially positions her as a billionaire.
“When I launched [Rhode] in 2022, I had grand ambitions for the company, and what’s most crucial for me is to expand Rhode into more spaces, places, and faces globally,” she expressed. “Today, I’m thrilled and proud to share that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we embark on this new chapter for Rhode. I’ve found a like-minded disruptor with a vision for innovation that aligns with mine, helping us continue to grow the brand.
