Summer I Turned Pretty Look-Alike Contest Rewards Winner with Free Trip to Paris!

The Summer I Turned Pretty fans can show their support for Team Conrad by participating in a look-alike contest, with a chance to win a free trip to Paris.

Travel company EF Ultimate Break announced on Thursday, September 4, that they are hosting a contest for fans aged 18 to 35, which includes the exciting prize of “a free trip to Paris — envision TSITP vibes, visits to the Louvre, strolls through the Versailles gardens, and a Seine River cruise.”

“In The Summer I Turned Pretty, Belly gave up her dream of studying abroad in Paris to marry Jeremiah. Meanwhile, Conrad — the internet’s beloved brother — deserves so much more. So, we’re changing the narrative,” stated the press release. “We’re sending one Conrad look-alike on the ultimate Paris redemption journey: a complimentary spot on our Paris: City Experience trip. Picture Eiffel Tower sunsets, croissants in the morning, and a leisurely stroll along the Seine, just like the main character you are. Because if Belly won’t pick him, at least Paris will.”

The announcement also mentioned: “Discover the Louvre. Toast with authentic Champagne in Champagne. Swap Cousins boating for cruising on the Seine. Explore the Versailles gardens that would outshine any summer getaway. Join a macaron baking class that’s sweeter than a decadent two-tier dark chocolate cake with raspberry coulis filling and a chocolate mirror glaze.”

The Summer I Turned Pretty premiered in 2021, revolving around a love triangle among Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney), and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). This season is expected to be the show’s finale, as Belly finally makes her choice between Conrad and Jeremiah.

To mitigate potential backlash, Prime Video earlier shared a statement outlining “community guidelines” for fans prior to the season 3 premiere this summer.

“Cousins is our safe haven. Everything good, everything magical. Let’s keep conversations positive this summer,” read the July announcement. “We have a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying and hate speech. Engaging in any of the following behaviors will result in a ban.”

The statement urged fans to refrain from “hate speech or bullying targeting our cast or crew, and from harassing or doxxing members of the community.” This came after Tung, 22, addressed viewers who were taking fictional shipping too far.

“When viewers form strong attachments to characters, they want to see a resolution,” she told Teen Vogue that same month. “I appreciate their passion, but it can get a bit intense.”

Tung added: “Please don’t threaten anyone if things don’t go your way — remember, it’s not that serious. Jenny [Han] is incredibly thoughtful and dedicated to crafting the best story possible. Everything will be just fine.”

The Summer I Turned Pretty streams on Prime Video Wednesdays.
