Sweeney elevated her look with grunge-inspired makeup. Her complexion boasted soft bronzed cheeks, understated blush, and a luminous finish. Her blue eyes were accentuated with black eyeliner in the waterline and charcoal eyeshadow seamlessly blended into her crease. She completed her makeup with light pink lips, groomed eyebrows, and mascara.

After showcasing her new hairstyle, Sweeney spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about her dramatic change.

“My hairstylist, Glen Coco, wanted to try something fresh, and I’m his little science experiment,” she joked. “I adore him so much that I let him cut and color my hair.”

She admitted that the transformation was a bit jarring for her. “It was such a major shift! I felt a little apprehensive,” she revealed, recalling that her hair used to cascade down to her waist before the chop.

“I think I became accustomed to my long hair; it felt like a safety net,” Sweeney shared. “I always preferred it down and wavy. But I’m really loving this new look.” She mentioned that she feels like she’s discovering “a new version” of herself with the bob. “When I look in the mirror, I think, ‘Ooh!’”

Sweeney’s colorist, Jacob Schwartz, also mentioned to Vogue that the actress was seeking a change.

To achieve her new look, Schwartz brightened Sweeney’s “dark suede blonde” locks to a lighter shade that accentuated her eyes and features beautifully. He noted how well the new color suited her cut.

Sweeney paired her chin-length bob with a pastel pink Miu Miu dress, complete with a fitted bodice and halter neckline, flowing into a voluminous A-line skirt embellished with delicate lace details. She elevated her appearance with dazzling diamond jewelry.
