SZA Dazzles with Fresh Pink Highlights: Check Out Her Transformation!

SZA on US Magazine embraces the fun side of hairstyling.
The 35-year-old artist SZA posted on Instagram on Wednesday, January 8, displaying her vibrant new bubblegum highlights. Previously seen with dark brown curls, she showcased hot pink money pieces styled to her chin, crafted by hairstylist Devante Turnbull. The remaining coils were dyed in a cherry cola hue.
To accentuate her bright hairdo, she teamed her new look with a black top featuring nude polka dots, a plunging neckline, and a waist tie. Styled by Alejandra LaPilusa, the One of Them Days artist complemented the outfit with cropped leggings, layered necklaces, and sandals.
For glam, SZA finished her appearance with a polished makeup look by artist Deanna Paley, featuring bold pink lips, smokey eyes, and a touch of highlighter in the inner corners. Her hands showcased intricate henna designs by Neha Assar Panchal.
In another clip shared on social media, SZA playfully flipped her hair, showcasing her newly dyed locks from different angles.
“PRESS THANGS FOR #ONEOFTHEMDAYSMOVIE 💝 COMING JANUARY 17th 🫶🏾,” she wrote alongside the post, promoting her upcoming comedy film alongside costar Keke Palmer.
“Gorgeous girl 😍😍😍😍😍,” remarked Palmer, 31, while singer Yebba Smith chimed in with “Piiink!! 🎀.” Chloe Bailey expressed that she looked “so pretty,” and another fan added, “Loving this new pink hair 😍.”
This isn’t the first instance where SZA has experimented with her curl color. Back in July 2024, she flaunted copper-colored locks cut just below her shoulders, with bangs gently resting past her eyebrows.
The following month, she donned a coral wig while posing on a rooftop, rocking the curly style paired with a sheer mesh pink catsuit featuring a single leg, a chest cutout, and leaf embroidery.
