“I’m having a breast augmentation done again. I had it a few years ago,” Taylor, 31, shared in an episode of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 4, which debuted on Thursday, March 12. “But I will say that after having a baby, I noticed some changes that made me a bit unsure. Filming five days before the season 3 reunion of Mormon Wives, Taylor flashed a peace sign to the camera as she was rolled into the operating room.

New Bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul is as prepared as she can be for her upcoming journey. Following the announcement on Wednesday, September 10, that the 31-year-old star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will lead season 22 of The Bachelorette, Us Weekly conducted an exclusive interview with Taylor. “What I’m most looking […]

“I’m doing this partly to feel good about myself, but also for The Bachelorette,” Taylor explained. “I think I’ll be wearing a lot of dresses, which is pretty unusual for me. I just want to feel confident in them.”

The episode then showed behind-the-scenes footage of Taylor’s breast augmentation, with the doctors seen applying bandages to her chest. After an hour, Taylor woke up and was emotional as her mother, Liann, entered the room.

“Oh my gosh, are you OK?” Liann asked. Taylor then started to cry as she covered her face with her hand.

“Yeah, I’m just feeling sad,” Taylor replied, while a nurse explained that the anesthesia might be affecting her emotions.

“No, this is just my freaking life,” Taylor said through tears. “My life situation is really tough. With family, you know… I think I tend to ignore it.”

Taylor expressed that her “heart aches” as she began discussing her relationship with Dakota Mortensen, the father of her 23-month-old son, Ever. (She is also the mother of daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, from her previous marriage to Tate Paul.)

“He never loved me, ever. I don’t care what anyone says. I’m coming to terms with it, but maybe this runs deeper,” she said, to which Liann replied, “Of course. It’s difficult. You probably thought you were going to end up with Dakota. That’s the heartbreaking part. You will be okay, Taylor.”

As she dabbed her tears with a tissue, Taylor responded, “I know.”

Taylor was announced as the next leading lady of The Bachelorette for 2025. Ahead of the season 22 premiere, she exclusively shared with Us Weekly that her decision to participate in the dating show was influenced by breaking free from her on-again, off-again relationship with Dakota and focusing on herself.

“Who gets the chance as a single mom to just prioritize dating, love, and themselves? It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” she said. “That’s why I chose to do this. Anyone who doubts that has their own issues.”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming. The Bachelorette season 22 is set to premiere on ABC on Sunday, March 22, at 8 p.m. ET and will be available for streaming the following day on Hulu.
