Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette Salary Insights Unveiled
The repercussions of Taylor Frankie Paul’s cancelled Bachelorette season have reportedly not impacted her earnings.
Taylor, 31, is set to receive her complete salary for the ABC dating series, as reported by TMZ on Wednesday, March 25, indicating that her paycheck falls within the low-to-mid six figures.
According to the outlet, Taylor’s contract for The Bachelorette was based on “services rendered,” and despite the season never airing, the entire season was filmed before the off-camera drama occurred.
Furthermore, Taylor completed most of her promotional duties for the show’s 22nd season before ABC decided to cancel it earlier this month.
Us Weekly has reached out for comments from both Taylor’s representatives and ABC.
After gaining fame from her role in Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives—which premiered in 2024—Taylor was cast as the Bachelorette in September 2025. (Before reality TV, she gained viral attention for admitting to soft-swinging with other Mormons in Utah.)
As Taylor prepared for the season 22 premiere, initially set for Sunday, March 22, news broke on March 16 regarding an alleged domestic dispute with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
A spokesperson from the Draper City Police Department in Utah confirmed to Us at the time that an open “domestic assault investigation” is ongoing concerning the couple, who have a son named Ever, 2. Authorities noted that “allegations have been made in both directions” and that “contact was made with involved parties on [February] 24th and 25th.”
In the wake of the scandal, a video from the exes’ 2023 domestic dispute, which resulted in Taylor’s arrest, resurfaced, showing her throwing chairs at Dakota, 33, with bodycam footage from the incident.
Shortly after the 2023 video gained attention, ABC declared on Thursday, March 19, that season 22 of The Bachelorette was cancelled. (Production on season 5 of SLOMW had already been paused due to the scandal.)
“ABC is furious about the situation,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “Taylor breached her contract, and they are conducting an internal investigation.”
For her part, Taylor expressed gratitude to the network for its “support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security.”
The situation escalated when Dakota filed for a temporary restraining order against Taylor and sought temporary custody of their son. (Taylor also has a daughter, Indy, 8, and a son, Ocean, 5, with ex-husband Tate Paul.)
Us confirmed on Friday, March 20, that Dakota was granted temporary custody of Ever and a temporary protection order against Taylor.
NBC News reported on Wednesday that the West Jordan Police Department in Utah is investigating a third alleged domestic dispute dating back to 2024. (Us has reached out to the department for remarks.)
“After years of silently enduring extensive mental and physical abuse, as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor finally gains the strength to confront her accuser and is taking steps to ensure her and her children’s safety from further harm,” a rep for Taylor revealed to Us after The Bachelorette was cancelled.
The statement continued, “Too many women are suffering in silence while dealing with aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move forward. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of continued abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to share her story.”
Dakota released his own statement to Us, saying, “This is a deeply upsetting situation that anyone who has seen the video will understand. I am, unfortunately, used to these unfounded claims about me and our relationship, which I completely deny. My focus is on our son’s safety, and I hope Taylor will do the same.”
