Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes Celebrate Chiefs’ AFC Victory with a Hug and Cheers
Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes’s friendship keeps growing stronger.
On January 26, after their partners, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and Brittany’s husband, Patrick Mahomes, led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory over the Buffalo Bills in the 2025 AFC Championship Game, the two shared an affectionate hug and celebrated together.
As the game concluded, the two friends made their way to the field at Arrowsmith Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, to support Kelce during a speech celebrating the Chiefs’ advancement to February’s Super Bowl LIX.
Capture moments revealed Swift embracing a cheerful Brittany while taking in Kelce’s address from the stage. Additional photos showcased Swift throwing her arm up in jubilation, her left arm draped around a laughing Brittany, beside them was Kelce’s mom, Donna, sharing in the joy.

Brittany, who welcomed her third child, Golden Raye, earlier this month and has two other kids, Sterling and Bronze, with Patrick, 29, also shared snippets from the celebrations through her Instagram Stories on Sunday night.
One post featured confetti raining down as Brittany cheered in the background, while another focused on Patrick, 29, receiving his trophy and waving to the crowd.
Since Taylor began dating Travis in the summer of 2023, her friendship with Brittany has blossomed. They have publicly supported the Chiefs through several games this NFL season, with Swift even gifting the Mahomes family a sentimental present to commemorate the birth of baby Golden.
A source revealed to Us Weekly on January 25 that Swift made a blanket for Golden, stating, “She creates many things for those she cherishes. Swift prefers giving thoughtful gifts that hold personal significance over extravagant ones.”
Regarding Swift and Brittany’s close friendship, another source told Us in October 2023 that it blossomed quickly. “Brittany [was] overjoyed to form a sincere friendship with Taylor. They’ve spent time hanging out and have grown quite close in a short span,” the insider noted. “Brittany finds Taylor to be incredibly kind and relatable, and they enjoy one another’s company.”

Just a month after Us reported this, Brittany joined Swift for a girls’ night out in New York City, along with other famous friends like Selena Gomez, Sophie Turner, and Gigi Hadid.
Brittany and Patrick have also celebrated Swift’s accomplishments, such as attending an Eras Tour wrap party in December 2024. “My people,” Brittany captioned a series of joyful photos where she posed with Swift and fellow Chiefs WAG Lyndsay Bell.
