Teddi Mellencamp Reveals Hair Update During Cancer Journey

Teddi Mellencamp candidly discussed her hair regrowth journey.

On Monday, May 12, the 43-year-old took to Instagram to explain why she hasn’t opted for a completely shaven head during her cancer treatment. She shared a post showcasing her hair’s regrowth with the caption, “Many have asked, ‘Why don’t you shave your whole head?’”

“I lost large patches of hair during radiation; those areas haven’t started growing back yet. This is how it looks when the other hair begins to come in. I shave the growing sections every couple of weeks, but I can’t manage it daily 🤣,” she expressed.

Mellencamp noted that she doesn’t mind fans inquiring about her hair situation, stating she feels “grateful that on most days [she’s] feeling better.”

According to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, “Next round of immunotherapy is in 2 days!”

She wrapped up her post by expressing gratitude to L’Agence Fashion for their stylish suits that boost her confidence during events amid her health struggles.

Following surgery to remove two tumors from her brain, which had spread from her Melanoma diagnosis, Mellencamp proudly displayed her scars at the Unforgettable Evening, Benefiting the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in Los Angeles on April 28.

The reality star recently opened up to Us Weekly, sharing exclusively in April that she’s “fighting for [her] life.”

On RHOBH, Mellencamp often told her children, “Moms always come back” whenever she left without them.

“Since returning from the hospital, I haven’t used that line with them,” she confessed. “They know I’m fighting as hard as I can, but I haven’t said it because I don’t want to deceive them. And I’m uncertain.”
