Tennis Star Anna Kournikova Announces Name of Her Fourth Child
Anna Kournikova has shared the name of her fourth child.
“Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” the 44-year-old former tennis star posted on Instagram on Thursday, March 19, three months post-delivery. The post showcased a heartwarming image of her children snuggling on a boat.
Kournikova’s twins, 8-year-old Lucy and Nicolas, smiled for the camera. Lucy rested her head on her arm while lounging on a seat. Nicolas snuggled close to Mary, 6, as she cradled baby Romeo, who is just 3 months old, in her lap.
Fans took to the comments to commend Romeo’s name, with one admirer stating, “What a beautiful name, Romeo!😍”. Another wrote, “Beautiful name for a beautiful baby! ❤️.” A third commented, “What a lovely name for your baby boy! You have such a wonderful family. Congratulations to you and Enrique! 🥰.”
Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias confirmed the arrival of baby Romeo on December 22. “My Sunshine 12.17.2025,” she wrote alongside an image of her son snug in a striped blanket and hat. Later that month, she shared a heartwarming photo of her other children all gently placing a hand on the newborn.
“My Sunshines ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she exclaimed.
Kournikova and Iglesias, 50, first met in 2001 during the filming of his “Escape” music video and began their romantic relationship. The couple made their red carpet debut at the MTV Video Music Awards the following year. In 2004, they fueled romance speculation when Kournikova was spotted wearing a ring.
Kournikova showcased her stunning engagement ring while playing tennis. The exquisite piece features an 11-carat pink pear-cut diamond set on a silver band adorned with additional diamonds surrounding it.
In a 2011 interview with Women’s Health, she spoke about her and Iglesias’s decision to remain unwed. “[Marriage] isn’t important to me. I’m in a happy relationship – that’s all that matters,” she stated. “I believe in commitment, being open, trusting one another, and giving each other complete respect.”
Kournikova has also expressed her desire to have children with Iglesias, stating, “I absolutely want to have children, whether I have my own or adopt. I love taking care of people.”
In 2017, the couple quietly celebrated the arrival of their twins, and Kournikova welcomed Mary in 2020.
