The Bachelor’s Litia Garr Lightheartedly Mocks Her Breakup with Grant Ellis

Litia Garr subtly shaded her ex, Grant Ellis, following their breakup after the season 29 finale of The Bachelor.

Litia, 31, posted a video with a friend dancing and lip-syncing to Ariana Grande’s “Let Me Love You” on TikTok on Wednesday, March 27. Her choice of audio seemed to reflect her emotions post-split, as Grande sings, “I just broke up with my ex / Now I’m out here single, I don’t really know what’s next / But I ain’t even trippin’, I’ma chill and sit back.”

Litia hinted at her breakup with Grant in the caption, stating, “Come on now.” These same words were used by her as she reacted to Grant’s decision to end their relationship during the finale on March 24. (Grant, 31, eventually proposed to Juliana Pasquarosa.)

“I do love you and I don’t want you to feel like I haven’t been open, I haven’t been honest, because I have been. And I’m truly sorry, and I hope that you don’t view me any differently,” Grant expressed to Litia, who responded, “Well, I do, for sure. Come on, now.”

Dina Lupancu realized the relationship was not meant to be during her hometown date with Grant Ellis. “[I understood I wasn’t The One] during hometowns,” Dina, 31, shared with Us Weekly during an exclusive interview at the recent Women Tell All taping. “Something that was hard for me, and I didn’t realize until I experienced it, was […]

Litia expressed her “disappointment” during their tense breakup, adding, “You’re different than I thought. … Juliana is a beautiful woman who deserves love, and I love her. If I were her, I would have many questions based on what you’ve said to me. That’s for you both to work out; it’s not my concern.”

During Monday’s After the Final Rose special, Litia revealed more about their breakup, telling host Jesse Palmer that she and Grant discussed the possibility of getting engaged on their last date together.

“I remember saying goodbye to him, thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, we are getting engaged tomorrow.’ He said, ‘I know, I can’t wait. I love you. I love you. I love you,’” she recalled. “Those were the last words he said before I went up there. It was completely shocking.”

Litia mentioned that Grant referred to her as his “No. 1 emotional connection” and claimed he suggested he could “stop the show” early, believing she was the one.

During a discussion with both Grant and Jesse on stage, she told her ex, “I asked you that night, ‘Please don’t make promises to me. I know what I signed up for, and it’s really gonna hurt me in the end if you change your mind.’ Remember what you said? ‘My mind’s not gonna change.’ You were scared that if you didn’t express your feelings, I would leave, so you kept raising the stakes and went out of bounds.”

In response, Grant accepted “responsibility for my actions” and apologized for “hurting you, hurting your feelings, and hurting the people who love you.”

Post-finale, Grant told Us Weekly that he “didn’t align” with many of Litia’s comments during the AFR but wanted her to “speak her truth.” He added, “I’m not going to argue with her on stage about what she thought I said…there’s room for interpretation when things are said, ‘off camera.’ At this point, I can’t say much more. I just have to accept the circumstances and apologize, allowing her to feel how she feels since she’s in a tough situation and hurting. I understand.”

When asked about Litia’s statements during the finale, Juliana, 28, responded to Us, “I think my only reaction is that we are two different individuals going through this process in our unique ways, and I wish her well.”
