The Most Catastrophic ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Partners of All Time!
Dancing With the Stars has showcased many remarkable partners throughout its history, yet not every pairing was ideally suited.
Kim Kardashian participated in season 7 of DWTS in 2008 with her professional partner, Mark Ballas. While Kardashian has thrived in numerous fields, she finished her DWTS journey in 11th place.
A decade later, actor Milo Manheim reminisced about a discussion he had with Kardashian regarding her DWTS experience. “She doesn’t enjoy dancing as much as I do, and I asked her, ‘I’m about to join Dancing With the Stars, what was your experience like?’ She replied, ‘Milo, it’s the worst! You get injured, and it feels ridiculous,’” he shared with Entertainment Tonight in 2018. “So that was kinda my advice from her.”
Cheryl Burke notably referred to Ian Ziering as her “least favorite partner.” In 2016, Burke claimed on the “Allegedly” podcast that the Beverly Hills, 90210 star “made [her] want to slit [her] wrists,” prompting her to cry to the show’s executives.
Burke later acknowledged she was “out of line” for making light of self-harm. “There’s no justification. Regardless of whether it was a joke or not, I realize it hurt him and his family,” she stated on her “Pretty Messed Up” podcast in 2021.
