Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins’ Heartwarming Family Moments: Photo Gallery
Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins are proud parents of five charming children and cherish every moment spent with them, often sharing their most heartwarming experiences on social media.
The couple welcomed their daughter Willa into their family through adoption from Uganda in May 2017. “I had always wanted to adopt,” Akins expressed in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly two years later. “My mom is actually adopted. I come from an adopted family, so it has always felt very natural to me. When I saw her … I was incredibly drawn to her. I often say she was always meant to be my baby; it just took a little longer for us to find each other.”
She went on to say, “I called Thomas during one of the first nights I met her in Uganda and shared my feelings. Without a moment’s hesitation, he replied, ‘Bring her home. She is ours. We will make this happen.’”
Willa officially joined their family in May 2017, and just three months later, Akins gave birth to their daughter Ada. The family grew again with the arrival of daughter Lennon Love in February 2020, followed by daughter Lillie in November 2021. Finally, they welcomed baby boy Brave Elijah in February 2026.
