Tiffany Haddish Reveals Her Go-To Private Ritual Before Every Performance

Tiffany Haddish knows how to bring the humor, but there’s one crucial aspect of her preparation routine that she claims is vital for getting in the right frame of mind.

“It’s my personal feel-good music,” Haddish, 45, shared with Us Weekly at FGI’s 29th Annual Rising Star Awards in New York City. “Not even my team hears it. It’s in my AirPods.”

So, what does this secret playlist include? “None of your business!” the Girls Trip star joked before revealing the actual secret. “It’s essentially Hz tones — 420, 480, 550.”

Haddish, who served as host for the Rising Star Awards ceremony, mentioned that it usually takes her two hours to prepare for a high-profile event — even with a team looking after her hair, makeup, and wardrobe.

“Many people will be pulling on you, and it’s important to be in a positive mental and spiritual space to manage that,” she explained. “Especially on those lady days! You really just want to fight people because you’re suffering. There’s a funeral happening, and no one knows but you!”

“I’m truly here to advocate for dreamers, creativity, and collaboration,” Lee said. “The essence of the brand is to extend a helping hand and elevate everyone. My brand statement is wear with love. So, everything I create is with love.”
