January 2023: Christine announces she’s dating again
After confirming her divorce from Kody Brown in November 2021, Christine relocated to Utah to start fresh with her youngest daughter, Truely. In a December 2022 interview with TODAY.com, the reality star expressed her openness to finding love but mentioned she wasn’t rushing into a new relationship.
“If there happens to be a love of my life, boom! Sign me up. Of course, I’d love a love of my life. That would be fantastic. But probably not just yet. My energy’s not quite right for that situation,” she remarked.
A month later, Christine reached out on Instagram, seeking dating advice from her fans.
“I’m dating again!! Holy. Hell. Awkward. Dating online is wild! Any tips for dating at 50?!” she posted.
February 2023: Christine reveals she’s in a new relationship
Just a few weeks after announcing her return to dating, Christine proudly stated she was in an exclusive relationship. On Feb. 7, the reality star took to Instagram to share a video and express her joy.
“He’s amazing and romantic, so kind, and everything I’ve been hoping for,” she shared.
Christine expressed that one of the things that enchanted her was his relationship with her daughter.
“(He’s) fantastic with Truely. He’s definitely a dream come true,” she added.
While fans were eager to learn more about this mystery man, Christine indicated she wasn’t quite ready to make introductions yet.
“For now, I’m keeping him to myself but will share more information later. I’m just… so thrilled!” she explained.
February 2023: The couple goes Instagram official on Valentine’s Day
On Valentine’s Day 2023, Christine formally introduced her audience to David Woolley, her new partner, sharing three photos on Instagram.
“I finally found the love of my life, David. When he first held me close, it felt like my soul took its first breath,” she expressed.
Sharing more about her new partner, she noted, “He’s sweet and kind, incredible with my kids, and a delightful grandpa.”
The 52-year-old concluded her post by saying, “I never dreamt I could experience a love like this.”
February 2023: Christine expresses she’s ‘finally happy’
Just days after making their relationship public on Instagram, Christine shared a video of herself dancing with David.
“I love having someone to dance with me in the kitchen,” she wrote alongside the sweet video, adding the hashtags, #finallyhappy and #loveofmylife.
David commented, “I will always dance with you, my Queen.”
March and April 2023: The couple enjoys several trips together
Shortly after announcing their romance, Christine and David embarked on various adventures together. During a weekend getaway in their home state of Utah, Christine shared a photo from their trip, captioning it, “I love having a partner to share these magical experiences with.”
The couple also traveled to California with Christine’s daughter, Truely, enjoying a thrilling day at Universal Studios Hollywood.
“Creating memories and going through adventures are always dear to me. On April 13, Christine disclosed that she and David were engaged.
“David treats me like royalty and tells me I’m beautiful every day,” she mentioned to TLC. “I’ve never experienced a love like this before, and the world seems brighter with him in it.”
