Todd Chrisley Shocked by Chase’s Weight Loss Amid Health Concerns

Todd Chrisley has become involved in his son Chase Chrisley’s health concerns following his release from prison.

“I’m not entirely sure what’s happening with Chase,” Todd, 56, shared in the Tuesday, September 16, episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. “Chase has been experiencing stomach problems for about four years. When I saw him, my heart sank because of how thin he looked.”

Since returning home from prison, Todd mentioned he’s been closely monitoring his son’s health.

“At this point, Chase is a bit annoyed. ‘I’m 30 years old, I don’t need my dad accompanying me to doctor visits,’” Todd recalled from a conversation. “I told him, ‘Clearly you do, as you haven’t figured out what’s wrong yet.’”

Chase Chrisley grew up on Chrisley Knows Best, continuing to capture fans’ attention through his journeys, despite various challenges. Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley welcomed their oldest son, Chase, in June 1996. They married in May 1996 and later welcomed Savannah Chrisley in 1997, followed by […]

Julie Chrisley, Chase’s mother, expressed, “No matter what’s happening, my main wish is for Chase to be healthy. I want him to be in a positive mental state and wish the best for him, just like I do for all my children.”

Chase, 29, opened up about his health problems on an episode of the Lifetime docuseries aired on September 9.

“In the past year, I’ve lost a significant amount of weight,” Chase explained. “My body seems to be rejecting food. There’s definitely something wrong. It’s awful. I mean, it’s completely miserable.”

While having lunch with his business partner Cary Purcell, Chase admitted, “My health has really deteriorated. I can’t keep a meal down, and sometimes even water. I’m not sure if it’s everything catching up to me or just stress.”

“Concerning Chase’s health, it has progressively worsened,” his girlfriend, Jodi Fournerat, commented in the same episode. “He literally cannot keep food—or even water—down. I’ve attempted to improve his diet, but he stubbornly refuses to believe that could help.”

Previously, Todd discussed his son’s health during a phone call from prison. (Both Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May after serving 28 months. Tuesday’s episode marked their first in-person return to the docuseries post-release.)

“I’m unsure what’s going on with Chase,” he mentioned in the September 9 episode. “For around four years, he’s struggled with stomach issues. He’d eat, only to rush to the bathroom or vomit afterward, and this has escalated since I left. He’s lost 15 pounds.”

He added, “I can’t grasp his reasoning when he says, ‘Maybe I don’t want to know if something is really wrong.’ I told him, ‘That doesn’t make sense.’ You need to find out what’s wrong, get it fixed, and move forward with your life. We will uncover the cause, I promise you.”
