Tom Blyth Discusses His Potential Return to Blond Hair Post-Hunger Games Era
Tom Blyth isn’t returning to blonde just yet.
The 30-year-old actor discussed his well-known blonde hair from his role as Coriolanus Snow (young President Snow) in the prequel, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. While at the E! News premiere of People We Meet on Vacation in Los Angeles on January 6, Blyth humorously shook his head when asked about his icy locks.
“I know everyone wants to ask, and I also know you’d rather not answer [but] what about the blonde hair? Are we revisiting it anytime soon?” a reporter from E! News questioned him, in a TikTok video posted on January 7.
Blyth responded, “Perhaps one day, but it requires a lot of upkeep.” He chuckled, reminiscing about the frequent visits needed to maintain his brunette roots. He added, “Plus, it hurts your scalp.” He joked, “I’m a bit of a baby and prefer a healthy scalp.”
“Will we see Tom Blyth as a blonde again?👀,” E! News captioned the post. Fans expressed their opinions on Blyth’s statement in the comments.
“He looks better with brunette hair, though,” one user remarked, while another chimed in, “He looks better brunette.” A third commented, “His natural hair is way better; y’all don’t know ball.”
While some were pleased with Blyth’s decision to keep his natural color, others longed for his blonde days. “I miss the blonde ughh,” one follower lamented. Another added, “Maybe NOW.”
Blyth plays Alex Nilsen in People We Met on Vacation, which premieres on Netflix on January 9, alongside Emily Bader as Poppy Wright.

People We Meet on Vacation centers on Poppy and Alex, two best friends who reconnect during a week-long summer getaway.
Blyth isn’t the only celebrity who shared insights about their natural hair color this week. On January 6, Jennifer Aniston disclosed that her blonde locks come from dye.
“Would I ever go brunette?” Aniston asked in the social media clip. “I am brunette,” she confirmed.
Her long-time friend and Friends co-star Courteney Cox then burst in, draping a section of her brunette hair over Aniston’s. “Here,” she said. “This is what she looks like brunette.”
“I’m brunette,” Aniston emphasized, labeling Cox’s hair “black.”
“It’s not black! It’s dark brown,” Cox corrected her.
Aniston then turned back to the question and reiterated, “Would I ever go brunette? Yes. So you got that answer, right? Did that work? That I was a natural brunette? This is fake.”
Over the years, Aniston’s hair has been a popular topic. In 1996, her iconic haircut from Friends became known as “The Rachel,” going viral for its short layers and voluminous style. Crafted by Chris McMillan, Aniston later confessed to Marie Claire in 2013 that she wasn’t fond of the look, as she had “no idea” how to style it herself.
