While naked dresses have been a trend at other major events such as the Met Gala, Grammys, and Oscars, Cannes has made a statement by banning this style. According to their FAQ on the website, “nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival.”
The statement further clarifies, “Voluminous outfits, especially those featuring a large train that obstruct the movement of guests or complicate theater seating, are not allowed.”
Despite the new regulations, Klum captivated the crowd in an Elie Saab gown adorned with a stunning floral train that flowed gracefully behind her.
