“All smiles over here,” read the caption for the clip, which also featured Kelce extending his arm for a high-five gesture.

Returning to his sport has led to a temporary halt of Travis’ “New Heights” podcast, which he cohosts with his brother Jason Kelce. During the brothers’ episode on July 9, Jason announced a break from the mic due to Travis’ training schedule.

“We have come to the end of the road,” said Jason, 37, during that episode, mentioning that production for season 3 of “New Heights” would be “wrapping up” on Wednesday, July 23. “Travis is going to training camp as all of you know. When training camp starts, we take a hiatus from the pod, as it’s nearly impossible to record while someone is in training camp.”

Fortunately for fans, Jason confirmed that they pre-recorded episodes with special guests that will be released periodically.

When Jason noted that Travis would be attending training camp, Travis could be heard cheering in the background. Travis is committed to the Chiefs until August 13, with three preseason games scheduled before the regular season begins.

Travis expressed his passion for the game while reflecting on the upcoming 2024 NFL season during a March episode of “New Heights.”

At that time, he told fans, “I love playing; I still believe I can play at a high level, maybe even better than last year. I don’t think last season was my best performance, and I let my teammates down more often than I helped them, especially considering my previous track record. I just want to give it a solid run.”
