Travis Kelce Supports Taylor Swift’s Gift of Pop Tarts to Charissa Thompson
Charissa Thompson has recently received the much sought-after Pop-Tarts from Taylor Swift.
On Saturday, May 31, in a post on Instagram, Thompson, 43, shared a series of photos. However, one particular image caught the keen eye of fans. The second-to-last slide showcased a close-up of Swift’s vibrant Pop-Tarts, some adorned with icing and sprinkles. These homemade delights were presented in a white box marked with “Charissa” in elegant cursive writing.
Fans eagerly commented, expressing their astonishment at Swift, 35, gifting her friend the Pop-Tarts. (Thompson and Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, have been friends for years, and she encouraged Swift to pursue a relationship with him during an August 2023 episode of her podcast “Calm Down” alongside Erin Andrews.)
“Love all these pics! And the casual addition of the Taytarts is incredible!!” remarked one user, while another chimed in, “We would recognize Taylor’s Pop-Tarts anywhere 😍.”
Kelce, 35, subtly showed his approval by liking the Instagram post.
The Eras Tour star, who has been dating Kelce since summer 2023, has a reputation for her thoughtful baking.
“A bit behind-the-scenes … she enjoys cooking, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade Pop-Tarts,” Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid mentioned in a February 2024 interview at the NFL Scouting Combine. “So it was all set. She knew just where to go. She didn’t give me one, and the offensive linemen certainly didn’t share any with me.”
Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones also praised the treats in February.
“You know what, a shout-out to Tay Tay,” Jones, 30, told the Kansas City Star at that time. “Her Pop-Tarts are incredible. I was asking Trav [because] I don’t know how she gets the crust of the Pop-Tarts so amazing. The crust tastes just like biscuits, I swear. But, shout-out to Tay Tay, she’s the real deal.”
Kelce has been right beside Swift as she creates her culinary masterpieces. In an April 2024 YouTube short, Swift shared a quick video of Kelce kissing her on the cheek while she prepared vegetables in a pan.
“I genuinely enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I prefer to keep personal,” Kelce stated during a June 2024 press conference when asked about their favorite dishes. “Taylor makes an excellent Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll.”
